Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel is a luxury 5-star hotel in London, England. It is located at 46 Westferry Circus in Canary Wharf. The hotel has 142 rooms and suites containing large bay windows overlooking the River Thames. Its Ancient Egyptian inspired design by Renton, Howard, Wood & Levin, based on earlier work by Philippe Starck, features a curved patinated copper roof. This bold architecture was seen as a departure from the previous conservatism of the Four Seasons group, who built it as Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf.It is owned by the billionaire property developer John Christodoulou. Staff were friendly , the bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast with a pot of coffee was delicious. The use of the spa facilities in the gym next door set us up nicely for the day. I used to stay at the old Four Seasons but opted for the Marriot because of the rewards. So every time I come to London I stay there. ||||However, after seeing the level of customer service deteriorate. I decided to give the Canary Riverside Plaza another try and I was pleasantly surprised. Although I didn't book direct (I wish I had now) I was offered free disabled parking at the front. The most pleasant surprise was seeing the same staff after two years of absence. The location is superb and customer service is exceptional! ||||I will definitely be staying there from now on. Stayed overnight for my husband’s 40th birthday as a special treat. We weren’t disappointed. Gorgeous room overlooking the river and pool. Lovely and big with a huge bath and walk in shower. Paid for onsite parking which meant we didn’t have to worry about charges somewhere else. Ate a late lunch at the Italian cafe in the corner, really good. Swam in the pool, a short walk around the hotel. Nice pool with views as well as steam, sauna and spa pools. Slept brilliantly and awoke to fabulous views. Such a contrast to the rest of London with its tall and modern, glass and steel architecture. Fun to stroll around and admire the contemporary beauty of these buildings. Lots of food trucks around and a bit further, some nice sit-down restaurants in the India Quay area. Prior to our flight to South Africa, both I, my Wife and Daughter stayed at the Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel for one night. We had the opportunity to see friends and do so in luxury accommodation.It was my Wifes Birthday and the Staff had surprised her with a Birthday Cake in our room post our evening meal. Completely unexpected and truly touching.The view from our room was spectacular and allowed us to experience both day / night views of Londons skyline in a bay window. If you do wish to stay here, ensure you ask for a riverside facing room.I had never heard of the Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel until our searched for hotels along the Thames. Another fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are amazing and made our stay that extra special. The Breakfast chef Stephen is amazing, we are going to miss his cooking and the breakfast servers are very attentive as well as polite friendly and professional. They attend to a guests every need. Special thanks to Ruta Said Shahin Jay Ivan Emerson Nino and Catoldo for looking after us so well. (More to mention but names escape me) Truly made us feel special. Restaurant and bar food is delicious and beautifully presented, staff again are amazing. Our rooms were 10 stars, fantastic river views, spacious suite with air con which kept the room temperature just perfect, the pillows are the best I have ever come across and the maid service is absolutely great. Nothing was a bother to them. Our rooms were kept spotless. Free use of the virgin gym and spa/swimming pool is an added bonus. Great facilities. I can highly recommend this hotel. It is the best I have stayed in. Third stay here and never an issue. Only positive things to say. Looking forward to returning. Wonderful location. Internal decor, a little late 90s. Its an odd one really. It looks so sleek and marvellous and when youre in your room, there is no reason to dislike whats around, but when you walk about and look in the nooks and crannies of the hotel, barring the main reception area, it all seems a little old hat. My wife and I stayed for one night on the 6th Of July and it was simply amazing, from check in to check out! the Front office management team were the best! we had a complementary upgrade as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the views from the room left us speechless! The Spa and facilities are excellent. ||The food at the restaurant was great too, also the bar in the evening made good drinks.
