We had just moved into our new house a few months ago and needed some work done. Buildmac had built a fabulous side + 2 storey extension in our house including a full carpenter made kitchen, en-suite master bedroom and a wonderful loft extension (for previous owners) - we were so impressed with their work that we asked them to help us with some external work that we needed done incl. structural timber work for our bay windows, rendering and replacing Fascia. Buildmac rapidly scheduled us in between other jobs and were able to finish the work in under a week. Furthermore, we had gotten some extortionate quotes from some fascia replacing companies and Buildmac gave us very honest advice on what we actually needed and what was just an upsell from such companies- all in all Buildmac did the work at a very reasonable price, in a very speedy and professional manner. We chose Buildmac because of the brilliant reviews he gets online, and we were not disappointed at all. Chris and his team moved to finish our building work quickly and professionally to demolish an old garage and build us a new outbuilding home office/storage space. We were so impressed that we invited Chris to also build us some new patios and help us overhaul the garden, for which a good price was submitted and adhered to.

In terms of budget, Buildmac came in very close to the original estimate. The payment schedule was advised well in advance which gave me the time I needed to arrange the financials in advance. The price was quoted including VAT and was broken down into materials and labour. Chris paused weekly labour payments in accordance with how much work was being done without any prompts from ourselves.

The site was tidy throughout the building work and the staff were always polite and friendly.

Chris gave regular updates when he could, again without prompts. When there were some issues with part of the work that had been done, I just emailed him photos and then this was remedied without any additional expense and without any arguments, which was a real relief to us! Chris also handled the building regulations visits and correspondence for us throughout the construction work.

We have already recommended his services on to our friends - more than once! If I ever need any more building work, after our experience, I would always go back to Buildmac first. More...

We employed Buildmac Ltd for a 1000 sqft extension and renovation of our house. We were impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the manager Chris during the quote process and the attention to detail in discussions regarding the whole project.
So far we are up to first floor level and have a new garage built.
