They generously helped us with a fundraising event in teignmouth. They put their own time, effort and money to cook some delicious paella for over 100 people. We cannot thank Buen Apetito enough for catering our wedding! Right from the initial contact, Andy was so helpful and we knew they would be the perfect fit for our day. They came all the way to Manchester to let us have a tasting, which made us extra excited as the food was just incredible! We used Andy and his team for our wedding in July 2018. The service from the very first contact was outstanding and completely took the stress and worry out of the process. What can i say other than that we 100% recommend the team and amazing food from Buen Apetito. Andy and his team are true professionals and do absolutely everything they can to ensure your day is a complete success. The process started for us about a year before the wedding when we found our venue. The wedding was to be at the Spanish Barn in Torquay and one of the reasons we chose there was that we could select all of our own suppliers including the catering. My Wife and I both have a love for Paella and came across the website. We got in touch with Andy who arranged a tasting session to make sure we were happy with what they provided. This is such a great idea and really reinforced our decision to choose them as the food was exceptional. The canapes were delicious and the Paella out of this world.So the big day came around and we met Andy at the venue the day before . We discussed the plan for the day and from there it was smooth sailing, all very chilled. Tess and I are delighted by the food and service provided by Andy and his team at Buen Apetito.We scoured the internet for all sorts of food options and eventually found Buen Apetito.   The pricing setup was simple with no hidden costs and Andy was incredibly flexible when we asked for services he hadn't advertised!Andy visited us the day before our wedding as we were staying locally and talked us through the setup. From start to finish Andy kept us informed.  We opted for the paella to be cooked on display which was a real treat.  Our guests loved it and so did we!Andy's team served canapés during our reception drinks which were delicious and much needed with the beer and fizz flowing. Next was the dinner, served by Andy's team effortlessly and without fuss. From first communication up until the day itself, Andy was fantastic! From his first reply to our initial enquiry, we knew that Buen Apetito would be the ideal caterers for us. We hadn't actually met Andy prior to my husband and I saying 'I do' but Andy's communication with so brilliant that we didn't need to. He was always available to answer questions and kept in constant contact.Andy and his team were just so fantastic from start to finish on our wedding day. We had Buen Apetito for our wedding a few weeks ago. From start to finish they were just incredible! Nothing was too much trouble, they travelled to our home so that we could sample some lovely desserts and go through everything before the big day.
They arrived early on the morning of the wedding, set out all the tables with beautiful dishes to eat three different types of paella from. They also catered for the fussy children at our wedding who wanted burgers instead.
The food was amazing!! Chicken and chorizo, seafood and vegetarian paellas, all which were gluten free too.. 2 cheesecakes and a double chocolate cake for dessert which were also gluten free and SO delicious!
We then had burgers in the evening, which received so many compliments from our guests. The day ran so smoothly!
The staff were so professional and friendly.. the lady who runs the venue was so impressed that she has put them on her recommendation list!

My Husband and I hired Buen Apetito to cater for our wedding at The Art Pavilion in Mile End Park, London this August 2017, and have absolutely no regrets. The food was delicious and every single guest went for second and third helpings of the paella - we received so many comments on how good the food was at the wedding so we definitely knew we had made the right choice in choosing Buen Apetito.

From the very first email, Andy was friendly, helpful and professional which made the choice easy for us to go with this caterer, having researched local London caterers for months we were losing hope! Andy came to the rescue! We told him our budget and he worked with us without trying to push the price up as most London caterers will try to do. We were really impressed that he could provide a three course buffet with evening meal, crockery and glassware despite his location of Devon when we are in central London. He even organised a taste testing for us at my Father-in-Law's house in Devon - cooking so much food we ate paella for the rest of the weekend!

Buen Apetito provided the catering for our wedding breakfast on 29th July 2017 – we chose the plated service, and it was fabulous! !
The service we received from Andy & Debbie at Buen Apetito was absolutely brilliant. From the very start it was always a personal, friendly and professional service. They were always there to answer any questions in the lead up to the wedding, and were very flexible and easy going. They allowed us to provide our own desserts and were happy to serve these for us, as it was important to us for some of our close family to make our desserts.
On the day, the service was flawless and the food absolutely delicious! I spoke with Andy when he and his team arrived the day before the wedding, to agree all the final details – nothing was too much to ask and they even upgraded our tablecloths free of charge (to their own expense and hassle as they had to return to collect them the next day!) as those we had requested weren’t available. On the day, everything ran smoothly – they ran our bar for us, served our scones (in place of canapes) & prosecco, and of course served their wonderful paella. The team of staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran well – the food was served quickly and efficiently, drinks were kept topped up, tables cleared etc. The smell of the food cooking had everyone’s mouths watering and when it arrived it didn’t disappoint! Everyone loved it, and there was plenty of food – many people went up for seconds, thirds and even fourths!!

Book Buen Appetito!

Of all the professional services we booked, or researched, for our wedding, Andy and Debbie at Buon Appetito were by far the easiest, most professional, flexible and accommodating.

When they say nothing is too much trouble, it really isn't but unlike others it doesn't all come at additional cost. We had a budget, Buen Appetito respected that and worked within it. They came out and cooked for us in advance of the booking. Debbie prepared sample canapes and Andy cooked paella for seven of us. This was not the easiest seven either. A father-in-law who was a little reticent and not a lover of "foreign" food, a 15 year old whose favourite dish is paella, a 7 year old who at the time only really liked sausages, a fiancee who can be a little fussy and a fiance that likes to think he can point out where master chefs go wrong were all amongst the group. Seven empty plates told its own story!

We chose our favourite canapes (not an easy choice because so many tasted, and looked fantastic) and opted for a paella marisco (seafood) and a paella valenciana (chicken and chorizo) along with a vegetarian paella and our favourite desserts, again a difficult choice due to all the delicious options.

We barely knew that Andy and Debbie were around as they set up their prep area on Friday since they just got on with their own thing amongst the chaos surrounding them. The are totally self sufficient and put absolutely no demands on us for anything.

On the day they were all set up and ready to cook on the dance floor in front of our guests. The three huge paella pans on display and smartly presented staff. Despite our best efforts at keeping to a time schedule the photographs over ran. Andy happily delayed cooking by 30 minutes to ensure that the food was cooked to perfection for when we sat down.

Service was swift and efficient, (nothing worse than being the last table to be served having waited an age) and there was enough for everyone to go back for seconds,even thirds in some cases and it was all delicious. There was nothing left over bar one small portion of vegetable and all our guests commented on how fantastic everything was. The evening buffet was equally sumptuous although we perhaps didn't need quite as much as we ordered due to the paella having been such a hit.

All in all, Buen Appetito were the consumate professionals but also the loveliest, most helpful people to deal with.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Andy and Debbie to anyone. Buen Appetito!! More...

Before the wedding Andy was so helpful, always answering questions quickly and being so helpful with everything. A DIY wedding is difficult and he came to the venue to meet us at the venue to help work out everything that needed to be done for the day, helping us with things we hadn't even thought about! Unfortunately the weekend of our wedding the "beast from the east" had arrived and the whole country was under snow and having significant problems and Andy and his team were in one of the the worst hit places. I cannot thank him enough for how helpful and calming he was on the very stressful day before the wedding. Even though I am sure he travelling in dangerous conditions with only a small team we were so grateful that they were able to make it on the day. The food was amazing, paella and evening BBQ and we had so many compliments from everyone. With all the problems we have no idea how he managed to pull it off but we could not be more grateful! We used Buen Apetito for my daughters wedding. From the initial enquiry 12 months before to the actual wedding day contact with Andy and Debbie was first class. They visited the venue when passing (bearing in mind this was 100 odd miles from where they live) to check the facilities and outside areas. We had an evening where they came and cooked delicious paella, the food was fab and their company great. Andy and Debbie came the day before to set up, it was just like they were part of our party who were helping us decorate the venue, they are exceptionally easy to get along with and so helpful. On the day of the wedding they sorted out the DJ, singer and even turned on many many tea lights and strings of lights before we arrived for the wedding breakfast. Their staff are as superb as them, they were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble making the day effortless, leaving us to enjoy and party! The food was FABULOUS, from the canapés to 3 different paella’s and delicious burgers in the evening. The comments from family and friends reinforced we had made a perfect choice in Buen Apetito. Buen Apetito provided a buffet for our Wedding in September down at Branksome Dene Rooms in Poole overlooking the beach. From the first time I spoke with Andy he put me completely at ease. I was in a fluster trying to arrange all the different aspects of our DIY wedding but he reassured me that once booked we could sort out the finer details nearer the time.
We had several people who were either vegan or had food allergies and he worked with us to ensure that everyone was catered for.
On the day Andy & his team just got on and set up. Our timings were a bit loose and they were very flexible.
The food was absolutely fantastic and we receive comments from pretty much everyone raving about it! I particularly loved the toffee apple crumble but all of the food was delicious.
If considering outside catering for your event don't even bother shopping around - Andy & his team will provide you with fantastic food and service with a smile.

Andy and Debbie cooked paella for 130 at our wedding back in July and they were brilliant.
From the minute we got in touch more than a year before they couldn't have been more responsive or more helpful. We couldn't get to taste their paella at a public event so a few months before the wedding they came round to our house and cooked in our kitchen for 4 of us. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the evening. It was a great way of getting to know Andy and Debbie and really getting a feel for how committed they are to providing an excellent service.
Around the wedding date, nothing was too much trouble and nothing fazed Andy. The gazebo was put up at our convenience in torrential rain but there were no issues. On the day, Andy and his team just arrived and did their thing really surreptitiously! It was only when the delicious smells started that we realised they were there!
We have had so many comments from guests about the paella, all of them raving about how delicious it was, how much there was of it, how friendly the team were. The speed with which all our guests were served was incredible.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Andy and Debbie to anyone. The quality, value for money, convenience and professionalism we received was outstanding and contributed in no small way to the best day ever.

From the first telephone call until after our wedding, Andy, Debbie and the whole team could not have done enough for us.

They were professional, polite and willing to go above and beyond to make our special day one to remember.

The food was delicious (we had canapés, paella, desserts and pasties for the evening buffet). They were constantly working throughout the day, serving food, drinks and running the bar.

It was the perfect choice for us as we wanted something a bit different to meat and two veg for the wedding food, and as they were completely self sufficient, there was no problem with catering for us in our tipi marquees.

Our guests were so complimentary of the staff and food, which goes to show the dedication to the service they provide.
