We offer damp proofing for both rising and penetrating damp, tanking and waterproofing solutions, replacement cavity wall ties, timber treatment for woodworm infestation and dry & wet rot and supply and fit condensation control units. We have also recently started removal of cavity wall insulation which is becoming a big issue for home owners.

This company was recommended by the estate agents we bought our cottage through, we were aware at the time of purchase that there was an issue with damp in the ‘ice house’ which forms part of where the conservatory was built. It also continued into the main living area.All the work recommended was carried out with the utmost professionalism, and the finish to all areas concerned is excellent.All of the tradesmen that BDP use are very good at their jobs, but a special mention must go to Steve the plasterer who has managed a finish on the walls as smooth as a baby’s bottom!I would highly recommended this company, both for professionalism, and a competitive price too. Had some bad news whilst doing up a house in 2017, found a damp patch in the living room. Andy from Brixham Damp Proofing was great, he turned up to assess the problem when he said he would (quite rare these days) and efficiently diagnosed the issue. It seemed quite scary to us as it involved ripping out plaster on walls but Andy talked us through the process and calmed our fears. Then Carl who did the work was amazing, so brilliant at what he does and within 3 days he had carried out all the work, put finish plaster on the walls and fully tidied up the considerable mess made at the start.
