Bridal makeup by Juliet

Juliet did our make up for my sisters wedding, which consisted of 2 Bridesmaids, 2 small bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and the beautiful bride herself, the make up was amazing and so perfect everyone commented on how fab our make up was, my niece has porcelain coloured skin and I like a fake tan and the colour match was just perfect for both of us, our eye make up made our eyes stand out so well and it lasted all day no smudges despite the happy tears! The mother of the bride was really nervous as she isn’t use to wearing much make up however, she was over the moon with the look created for her and as for the bride well she looked absolutely flawless and her make up was gorgeous and perfectly fitting for her dress. Juliet gave me and my daughter a make up lesson and right from the start she made us feel welcome and was just so warm and friendly. Throughout the whole lesson, she explained everything clearly and showed patience. In all my years of applying make up, never have I learnt so much about application, technique, colour and correction. Juliet is an amazing make up artist. I scrawled the local area for a MUA that made brides glow, but in a natural way and I was so pleased Juliet was available on my day! She is so bubbly and fun to have around on the morning of your wedding! We had such a lovely morning, and I had so many compliments on my make up on the day. Juliet did my make up for my wedding and I felt amazing! Juliet listened to exactly what I wanted following my trial and created a wonderful look which really highlighted my eyes and made my skin look glowing. I was lucky enough to have a lovely sunny wedding day and later in the evening did lots of dancing, my make up did not budge at all! I'm soon to be a M.O.B. and will be doing my own makeup. I was feeling nervous about this as I've never been that makeup confident or savvy. I've had several bad experiences with other makeup artists where I've been made to look more like someone else, certainly not me. After some careful research online, enter Juliet to the rescue! In a 2.5 hour lesson at my home Juliet took me through how to do my makeup so that I looked like the best version of me, by doing one side of my face while I did the other. Thank you Juliet, you were amazing. You have given me the confidence and step by step notes to apply my make-up for my wedding in Portugal. I was worried I would melt in the heat but you took me through what I needed to do to get a flawless finish that would stay. Juliet was amazing! If you are looking for someone to do your wedding makeup or any other event stop right here!She made me and my bridal party feel a million dollars! We had a trial in March and she listened to what we wanted and what we felt comfortable with (and typically we all wanted slightly different) Juliet is truly talented I was so please with everyone’s make up and my own! Omg where to start!!! I meet Juliet back in February of this year when my best friend (the bride to be) took us there to have some trials done. I was impressed from the word go....... as a lover of makeup my self Juliet had many of my favourite products and had lots of knowledge about the products she was using and even talked us through some new products and we really liked that. This Friday just gone, the big day was here and everyone was very excited and it was lovely having the pamper morning getting ready. Juliet was amazing- Juliet re coloured matched our foundations as some of us had caught the sun and her attention to details is fab! Because Juliet is so lovely and friendly she kept us all calm and very relaxed which we all needed. I’ve used many makeup artist and this is be far the best one I’ve had. Juliet did my make up as a bridesmaid last year which I was so pleased with. Today I had a make up lesson which I was absolutely over the moon with. I would recommend Juliet to anyone. She did my makeup for my wedding last year and I loved it so much I wanted to learn how to do it myself. Juliet was kind and patient and showed me what to do on one side of my face and then let me do the other side so I could learn to do it for myself. The products she recommended were really high quality but found on the high street so very affordable and she emailed out a step by step guide so I didn’t have to remember everything from the lesson! I would highly recommend Juliet. I was looking for someone who could help me with my makeup for work and just general makeup queries. I was looking for an easy stay fresh all day look. From first contact Juliet was fabulous and instantly made me feel ok about all my questions. I booked a master class and I was not disappointed. Juliet is so friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. We discussed everything and she talked through every step with me. Juliet did one side of my face and I did the other with her guidance. She answered all my questions and even recommended products for me. The end look was fabulous, flawless and lasted all day. I felt amazing and confident that I could recreate the look. Juliet emailed me a step by step guide and a list of all the products used for my look. What I loved was the fact that all the products were high street products so all very affordable. Juliet did the makeup for my Mum’s wedding- Juliet is an extremely talented MUA who knows how to bring out the best in every person. My mum looked liked a princess throughout the entire day, she couldn’t of been happier with her makeup- the result was stunning. My Nan was slightly worried about having her makeup done in particular, as my Nan wears only a little/next to no makeup. But Juliet did such an incredible job making my Nan feel more at ease and beautifully enhancing her features with a very natural yet gorgeous finish, which my Nan was extremely happy with. I originally planned to do my own makeup as I have had several bad experiences with MUAs before. However, I felt slightly panicked as time was running out and Juliet was kind enough to help me out with my makeup which made me feel very confident and glamorous throughout the day, and I am so glad that Juliet helped me! I came across Juliet on Google and thought with the high calibre of her reviews she wouldn't be available on my date - I am SO glad she was. The initial contact was great, trial arranged early on and Juliet came to my home and instantly I knew she was going to be great. Juliet listened to me but most importantly, knew how to make me look the best version of myself but still me. The trial make up lasted so well and looked fresh for hours and hours. On the day, I had a breakout and was so worried about this. SHE IS A MIRACLE WORKER. No breakout in site and I looked amazing, felt so glam and pampered. Juliet also made up my bridesmaids, all four are very different but she created individual yet cohesive looks for all of them which workedwith the theme and their own style. They all felt a million dollars! The most important thing was the make up still looked on point when I went to take it off 15 hours later. In the photos it looks flawless too, and in real life. I really couldn't recommend her enough - so friendly and welcoming, a light refreshing energy which definitely helped calm my nerves on the morning of the wedding. Juliet was fantastic. We had a search and emailed a few makeup artists but Juliet got back to us so promptly and organised a trial immediately. She is professional and so very easy to get on with. I discovered Juliet on Instagram about a year ago and loved her work and how she clearly takes such care to make each person she works on feel special whilst looking like themselves. I booked Juliet for my wedding (which was about a month ago now) and had my first trial much earlier in the year. I picked a look and Juliet executed it perfectly. As time passed I decided I in fact wanted to go for a slightly different look on the day and Juliet very kindly fitted me in for a second trial the week before the day. She was so kind and said the most important thing was I was totally happy with the look I wanted so I could feel relaxed on the day. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! We can’t believe that 4 weeks have flown by already. We really did have the best wedding day ever. We just wanted to say THANK YOU for the part you played in making our day so special . The morning ran so smoothly and I can’t believe how well all our suppliers worked together. I didn’t have to have to worry about timings at all as you had it all in hand. You also kept us entertained with all your stories keeping my mind away from the nerves! Unfortunately the weather was not on our side making the lighting poor, but I was really not worried with the special lighting you had to ensure we looked perfect (and I loved the directors chair!) We are a family of 4 ladies, that had a makeup lesson with Juliet. We had previously met her at a family wedding where she did all our makeup. Juliet made us feel and look so good about ourselves that we decided to book her for a private makeup lesson. Right from the start Juliet engaged in conversation and made us feel comfortable. She took the time to learn about our skin types and what each of us wanted to get out of the lesson.The following day a personalised write up was sent via email to each of us, listing the products and tools we used and where we could purchase them. She also included a step by step guide on individual applications and sent us professional photographs of the results. All the products used were tried and tested by Juliet. She also found value for money on many of the products making it very affordable. The overall experience was truly wonderful. We gained so much from the lesson and never felt rushed. Juliet created beautiful make up looks for 8 people on my wedding day, including myself! I have to admit I was a little nervous when I realised it would be Juliet alone doing our make up starting at 6. 30 as well as hair as I had a large bridal party, I was worried that we may not be done in time, I soon realised I had nothing to fear, my make up trial went wonderfully and it was so lovely to get to know Juliet before my big day and as the wedding day approached Juliet was easily contactable to answer any questions that had popped up after meeting and before the wedding. On the wedding day Juliet of course arrived exactly when she said she would and had a time schedule that she was running to, each of the girls had different skin types and Juliet listened to what each bridesmaid had any insecurities about I.e any skin problem areas and worked with each face to make sure the girls felt comfortable. Juliet was such a joy to have on the day we were all ready ahead of schedule leaving plenty of time for photos and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Juliet Cunnington is a truly amazing and talented makeup artist! I had my trial in early June and Juliet made me and my bridesmaid feel totally at ease immediately. The trial photos that she took were fantastic and gave me so much confidence as the wedding was approaching. Our wedding day was 20th September 2018 (2 days ago) and my makeup was stunning. Not only that, but the bridesmaids and my mums makeup were fabulous. My makeup unbelievably lasted from 9.30am till 2am the following morning with no touch ups other than re-applying my lipstick! I was dancing for 4 hours almost non-stop and it still looked amazing with not a smudge in sight when we got back to the hotel.
