Great fitness training for new mums and those further along in their parenting journey. Sarah really understands that not all mums want to be treated with kid gloves and always provides options for exercises to suit different needs and experience. And the kids love all the toys and cuddles! Highly recommended, gutted I won't be able to go when I go back to work. More...

Sarah is awesome! I have an old knee injury which is flaring up and she comes up with a workout to suit me without putting pressure on my injury. She's a happy bubbly person who makes working out fun and not a chore. Her knowledge on nutrition is great too. I highly recommend. Gutted we're almost at the end of our contract More...

As a personal trainer myself, I need a workout that will challenge me. Since moving to St Albans, classes have been friendly, easy to dip in and out of with tiny human and still kicks my butt. Exercises I don’t want to do but have to in classes. More...

I've been attending Sarah's post natal fitness classes since having my baby, and they are hugely helping me gain my fitness back. The classes are great for all levels of fitness, everyone is so friendly and it's such a huge positive that you can take your baby/child with you. I look forward to these classes every week and I'd seriously recommend them to anyone looking to get fit again, have fun and meet some new friends! More...

Sara is a real expert in nutrition and personal training and her enthusiasm is contagious. Sara’s knowledge about fitness is astonishing. Her classes are entertaining, but same time she will give you instant feedback and support if there is any struggle. It’s not only the great advice she gives, she is very caring and make the excersize to suit your individuality. Even you are in classes it feels like you have a personal training session. I have lost almost stone in 9 weeks and I couldn’t wish for anyone better. More...

I wanted to do something for my physical condition. My problem was lack of free personal time that's why I could not attend any class. Then I found Sarah! She came into my house when I was available and she prepared exercises according my needs! Amazing! What can be better! She was always challenging me and pushed me to perform my best. I felt good after her session. Sarah gave me advices what to do when something hurt during exercising and recommended me special exercises. She is very knowledgeable in what she does. I really enjoyed the time spent with her, with my personal trainer. Thanks Sarah! I hope I find somebody as you in my new place! More...

Q&As

Keeping training fun so clients learn to love exercise and look forward to their next session

Being realistic... You can’t train for an hour, then have a pizza for lunch and hope you still loose weight.
Mind over matter... exercise is hard work.
Routine... fitting exercise into your routine will make you make time for fitness.
Commitment... put in the time, cut the bad calories out and you will see results.

Without these 4 points you will struggle to see long term results.

Seeing my lovely ladies grow through their pregnancy and helping them regain their confidence and strength once baby has arrived.

I want to help mums understand their bodies and get them back into their pre-baby clothes. I really struggled and I want to help others so they don’t have to.

I care so much about my clients.
I’m not doing this as a job, I do this because it’s my passion. I love fitness but I never used to and I know I can get others to start enjoying being fit and healthy too.

Yes, zoom session are available by request. That way you can be safe from your home and still work out.

Services

Your body is rapidly growing and adapting to create your tiny human. Even from the first couple of weeks your body has become filled with new and extra hormones to prepare you and your baby for the big day.
During our sessions we will build on your overall fitness by including functional training and strength techniques to continue to tone and strengthen areas which can become weakened during pregnancy, such as your hips, bottom, core and pelvic floor. We will also have a look at your eating habits and adjust where necessary to improve your health. For some, loosing weight may also be a priority, but controlling weight loss during pregnancy must be done very carefully so not to disturb your babies growth. However, eating well and doing exercise will not only encourage safe weight loss, it will also release endorphins (the happy hormone) meaning you are going to start feeling happier in yourself and in life and improve on yours and your babies wellbeing.
Being pregnant or having a new baby, it's pretty hard to find a moment to go to a suitable class or gym.
You may be asking yourself all the normal maternal questions, such as; how do I know if I'm doing the right thing for my body? Am I eating right?
Am I doing my pelvic floor exercises enough or even correctly? Which is where I come in.

I come to your home or local park and I provide all the equipment.
In addition to my personal training qualifications and years of experience with expectant and new mummies, I hold an advanced pregnancy and postnatal health and fitness qualification and I also have two children under five myself, so I fully understand the stresses your body has been through to create your tiny human and you can be sure you are in safe hands.

Training with your new mummy friends is a great way to push yourself and each other to achieve your fitness goals. It's also great to be around others who understand new mum life and for your babies to start their first friendships.

All you need to do is be ready in your workout clothes. I bring all the equipment we'll need for the sessions. Your children are welcome to have a cuddle or play along side us throughout our sessions, and it's good for them to see you working out and looking after your self.

Your body has been through a lot to grow your baby, and all bodies handle that experience differently, so even in group training session the workouts will be tailored each participant. Even though we will be working hard, we will be working out safely and mainly focussing on your central areas such as your core, pelvic floor, bottom and hips. We will build on your overall fitness by including functional training and strength techniques to help shift the excess baby weight and to tone and strengthen all the other areas of your body too.

Set the weekly routine. Get excited for your session. Let's have a laugh and work so hard you'll be seeing results in no time.

Now your baby is here it's time to get everything toned right up and looking fabulous.

All you need to do is be ready in your comfy clothes. I will turn up with everything we need and I will guide you whole way, so no need to worry about organisation or the 'baby-brain'. Also, your baby is number one, they can have a cuddle or play along side throughout our sessions, they will not be in the way.

The most important thing to remember is that your body has just taken 9 months to adjust ready for birth, it's been through one hell of ride. So even though we will be working hard, we will be working out safely and mainly focussing on your central areas such as your core, pelvic floor, bottom and hips. We will check your pelvic floor, core, hip function and other essential areas which need to be strong again to get back into fitness.

Over the hour I will give you the knowledge you need to attend a fitness class or solo workout knowing you are keeping your repairing body safe and also give you insight on how your own body is repairing
