What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2000, a family friend asked me to write a simple database to help her manage records in a Women's Refuge. The increasing complexity of her contract meant it was impossible to produce accurate statistics from paper records. What started as a part time project has grown into a full time business with ten staff (a mix of developers, designers, testers and database administrators) serving not for profit and private sector organisations across the UK.

Prior to engagement, we work with prospective customers to understand their needs and show them what we can offer. This is all wrapped up in a formal engagement letter from which the customer can make an informed choice. All of this work is at no cost or obligation.
