I had a BBQ for my birthday, serving 60 people and I could not fault the service. The food was absolutely delicious and had a very well thought out Vegetarian/Vegan option. What’s your signature dish?
Our signature dish is our hand crafted BOOM BURGER! Each one is packed full of delicious onions, chorizo, bacon with a cheeky slab of halloumi hidden inside the patty. Topped with smoked cheese and fresh lettuce. For our VEGGIE & VEGAN friends we have our Pepper Pots, fresh Romano peppers stuffed with basmati rice and roasted veg. All baked on the grill.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
At Blackbeards Galley we listen to the client. We will offer informed choices, outlining our capabilities and limitations. We want to ensure that our clients get exact what they want.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Luke has always been something of an entrepreneur. Establishing his first business in 2007, Local Roots & Wellie Boots was a huge hit in Eastbourne. Providing the community with only locally sourced produce as well as a seasonal cafe. He won the acclaimed 'Best Local Business' award from The Observer in 2010.
Since then he has been developing his passion for catering and has been working with a great local catering company to develop his skills and understanding of the sector. Luke loves to be creative and to find solutions to best help you make your event a success.
