I have worked with Dan quite a few occasions as a second shooter and have always been impressed at his attention to detail and dedication to really thorough coverage of the wedding day. His unobtrusive, documentary approach is laid back allowing couples to enjoy their day and his photographs always show the love and connection that his couples have with each other and with their guests. And top it all off, he's a super cool cat - if I got married again I wouldn't hesitate in considering Dan to shoot my wedding.

When we first went to chat about our wedding Dan was fantastic we were really impressed and booked the silver package a few days later. He was very accommodating with our requests and put me totally at ease before the wedding so I had absolutely no concerns on the day about how our photographs would turn out. Dan and will seemed to be everywhere taking photos of everyone and everything at our wedding so I was excited to see lots of moments that I had missed on the actual wedding day on top of the group photos and photographs of specific family members I had requested. On the night of the wedding Dan uploaded a preview of our photos onto facebook some of which we liked but others that were extremely unflattering of both myself and my husband. I asked Dan very nicely if he could take those few photos down from Facebook which he did. That is where our problems started. We obviously offended Dan by asking him to take those photos down and it massively shows in our wedding album which we received 2 months later. There are so few photos of just myself and my husband alone that if it wasn't for the wedding dress you could have mistaked us for guests. There are more photos of the back of my husband's head than of his face and just 1 photo of his groomsmen. The only images we have of my bridesmaids are the group images I specifically asked for there are none of them enjoying the day or with other guests at all. There are zero images of around 70% of our evening guests - Dan's reasoning for this he only usually takes photos on the dance floor in the evening. Not great when some of the most important guests at your wedding are too old or ill to be on the dance floor. Our first dance images are terrible and my husband's face cannot be seen in most of them and none are full length shots. One of our most important requests for a wedding photographer was that I wanted as many photographs of my terminally ill dad with as many guests as possible - this did not happen! We are now 5 months on from the wedding and Dan could not be less helpful his attitude is very dismissive he will not allow us to view the rest of the photographs even though there must be many more as we also paid for a second shooter. When emailing Dan our complaint as stated in his complaints policy he was extremely rude particularly towards my mum (who is also named as his client for the wedding album). He takes weeks to respond to emails and there is no sign of our USB containing our wedding images being delivered any time soon all we have is a link to an online gallery. If you want your wedding album to be full of random images of cans of red bull, plates on a wall or the back of people's heads then go with Bib & Tucker. The images portrayed on social media & the website are absolutely nothing like the whole album you will receive!
