Describe your creative process.
For design I will gather information from the client to ensure all specifications will be met during the creative process. Once all of the information has been gathered I will create drafts on paper, in order to search for the best design in the most time efficient way. After the best draft version has been selected, I will then move on to designing it digitally, in software such as Photoshop.
As for social media content creation, I will create a schedule based on the time period the client would like content for. The schedule will be fully customised based on the client's business and preferences. Once the plan of the schedule has been made, I will begin the content creation - including content images and text. I will also produce a report on the analytics, based on how often the client would want a report sent to them.
With copywriting, I will create a plan for the article based on the topic discussed with the client. All of the text will be ensured to have no grammatical errors, and it will be written in proper english to a high standard.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
For design I will need information from the client such as an overall concept for the design, colour scheme, brand guidelines, sizing dimensions, file type, fonts needed. If any specific text/images need to be used I will need these sending over so they can be implemented too.
As for social media content creation, I will need to know the platforms the client would like to use. I will then need to know the time period that the client would like content to go out for, for example, do they need a week's worth of content, a month, multiple months? When it comes to the actual content, I will need to know the types of things the client would like to be posted. Any logins for social media accounts may be needed unless I have access to a scheduling tool, such as Buffer.
With copywriting, I will need to know what topic the client will want the article to be about, as well as who my target audience is and how long they'd like the post to be.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the creative freedom I have with my job, it allows me to be imaginitive and create original content. The sector of design and digital marketing is one that is forever changing, so no 2 days are ever the same. This means there are new tasks and challenges everyday, so I always have to ensure i'm up to date with current news and trends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a creative mindset, so being able to work independently whilst producing high quality content with full creative freedom is exactly what I wanted to do. I have had experience working inhouse as a digital marketing apprentice and social media content creator, both of which have been incredible learning experience - but there are limitations on how creative I can be, due to the fact all content being made was for just one company. By having my own business, I am able to help numerous clients build up their company through either design or online content marketing, which is something i've always wanted to do.

I have multiple qualifications in both design subjects and marketing, including my digital marketing diploma and several other subjects like Media, English, Art & Design and more. I have several certifications in digital marketing, social media, seo, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign. So overall, I do have experience and knowledge when it comes to digital marketing and design. I will always go the extra mile to ensure the client is happy with the service that they are being provided, which has been evident when I worked as a digital marketing apprentice and freelance digital artist.
