Most of the requests for help I get start with the words "I don't think anyone can help me; but I think YOU just might be able to."

I am thought of as the caring coach for tricky situations - I have a deep empathy and understanding, and am happy to share my own experiences with you if I think it will help.

I have coached everyone from businessmen to recovering addicts to other coaches to ex-offenders. I believe in helping people become who they were always meant to be, by removing their limitations and helping them to find direction in their lives.

I run anti-stress workshops for businesses and public sector organisations. These are nothing like you will have seen before! It's not about managing stress, it's about getting rid of it entirely. Pressure may be healthy sometimes - stress is not.

My specialties are anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues and helping you to identify and heal painful incidents from your past that may be creating difficult patterns in your present life.

My main passion is helping recovering addicts to become free of their limitations and to become who they were always meant to be.

My work extends out into people recovering from other things, such as illness, divorce, bereavement, mental health problems, redundancy, bereavement etc.

I believe we can use our setbacks to our advantage, and can move on with valuable lessons, insights and qualities that we never would have had if we had not encountered adversity.

I am the author of two books on Addiction Recovery. As an addict who struggled for a long time before finding recovery, I have a first-hand insight into addiction. Having made mistakes before achieving my own recovery, and having helped numerous other addicts, I know exactly what works and doesn't work.

Addiction is a much misunderstood disorder and one of my basic wishes is to educate people about the true nature of addiction and to help end stigma against addicts so more people can ask for help.

I specialise in addiction and mental health
