Beauty Spot - Ayr

Had booked in at the Beauty Spot for my wedding hair and makeup for August 2020 unfortunately due to the pandemic our wedding was cancelled. We had another date arranged and everything got transferred over however due to the pandemic and our change in circumstances we cancelled our date for August 2021 as the pandemic has taken over. Our venue, photographer and florist (two of which are self employed family run businesses) all returned our deposit. Like Erin, we are both self employed and run our own family business. I contacted Erin to explain and she advised initially she would hold our deposit until we had another date. As we are unsure of what is going to happen we have not set another date. Following Government advice all weddings affected by covid are entitled to deposit back. I relayed this information to Erin who simply asked for bank details and advised our deposit would be returned. The bank details were provided and I thought that was the end of the matter. However I then received an email from Erin advising she would not be returning my deposit...why take my bank details and then not issue deposit? I understand the pandemic has affected everyone however this has been handled very unprofessionally. We would never advise a client we were returning a deposit and then not return it. Clearly in this case Erin needs the money more than we do and rather than return the deposit or respond to any of my further emails she decided to ignore any further correspondence from myself.
Well we hope you enjoy the deposit and no I definitely will not recommend nor will I use your business for my wedding when we do get married. Enjoy the £40 😀......

had gel hands and toes, as well as a spray tan in Beauty spot. the girls were so friendly and welcoming, I was made to feel at ease and totally comfortable which can sometimes be difficult when getting a tan! will definitely be back xx

Wow...what can I say...Have just had the most amazing Deep Tissue Massage from Kelsey and I can’t believe how great I feel now! I have been over-training at the gym recently and Kelsey found my problem areas straight away and worked on them successfully...if your looking for a relaxing massage this isn’t for you but if you do a lot of sport and have tension in certain areas this is fantastic I feel like I’ve had a proper Sports massage Kelsey is fantastic at what she does!
