It's been a while since I visited and posted these images. But Beauty at the Bay deserves to let me describe the fantastic experience. First off - I was booked in for a full massage (Swedish) as a present after a stretch of pretty tiring work. Secondly - This was to be my first ever massage or beauty/therapy treatment and I was quite nervous.The ladies at front desk put me right at ease, were friendly and welcoming - whilst I was still nervous (I don't know why, I just was ok!) they didn't make me feel like I was out of place or unwelcome as a one off (ish) customer.Next I was taken to the waiting/relaxation room. And to be honest I'd quite happily book an hour session of just sitting in there! Soft lighting, gentle mood tones, a drink and comfortable chaise lounges make up the room. In which I was left for a short time to breathe.Then the massage itself.My masseuse was Harleigh, which I feel needs to be said, because she was amazing. Again putting me totally at ease and explaining what the massage would involve. As well as checking any allergens, etc prior to the session.I made myself comfortable and she went to work on a good few years of knotted muscle.For those who've had a Swedish massage before, you'll understand when I say it was fantastic (but at times painful!). This is to be expected! Harleigh worked on knots and taught muscles that I didn't know I had, and I left feeling...if not better...improved.Post massage was back to the relaxation room for a moment to recover, and a complimentary fruit tea and scoop of sorbet (both, very appreciated).I would go to BatB againI WILL go again. I just wish I could go more.They offer a whole range of services and therapies as well, so worth checking their website and see what they have on offer. If it was all as good as this massage, I'd give a thumbs up to everything. More...
