Close to the beach (which you can drives on) good play area for children, outside seating for families with doggies, great food at a good price. Just love the place.

The only thing I regret is not finding the sundowner earlier in our stay, it is by far the best we found good food and good prices in relation to other eateries in the vicinity, we came here for our breakfasts on each the last three days of our holiday it will be every day should we come down this way again, big garden out the back should you wish to eat outside, dogs are also welcome all the staff are warm and friendly, the manager on our first visit made us feel so welcome, recognising our 15 month old granddaughter was getting agitated came over and gave her a small toy to occupy her and it worked , they also do a loyalty card where you can get a free meal after ordering so many over the week , highly recommended,

Second time visiting this oasis and did not disappoint. The weather wasn’t quite as inviting but received a very warm welcome from all of the staff. Had a breakfast which was tasty followed by the best tea cake in town. When reading previous reviews I do think people misinterpret this CAFE as a restaurant. WindbreakerI have seen the review left by the lady that purchased a windbreaker from the Sundowner, firstly i was waiting to be served when heard her balling at the manager regarding trading standards. The manager was polite, patient and addressed the lady as Miss when he could get a word in of course Any other person with less patience would have chucked the individual out. Secondly, conditions where sunny with a breez but deteriorated with sharp winds in the afternoon. This is our 2nd weekend stay at Beachside in month loved it stayed in 15 it's Clean staff very friendly Sundowner does a lovely breakfast close to beach our Bulldog Archie loved it taking family back next year can't wait Def be doing lottery can't wait own our own Caravan

Just came back from a one night break in a platinum 2 bed (caravan 17). Booked it Saturday morning and turned up the same day. (Love the fact you can book for 1 or 2 nights unlike many other sites which insist on 3 night stays). Caravan was slightly smaller than I would have liked but think that is because we normally book 3 bed vans. Only two criticisms for the stay. 1. Bed was really uncomfortable. Not sure if that’s because we are used to a firm mattress ‍♂️ 2. No electric kettle Had to opt for the old fashioned whistler which the kids found highly amusing. Other than that, food was great, even do carry out so we could take back to the caravan with us. Stayed here before and will certainly stay again!!! Ps: Great Reception staff! More...

Well just got back after spending a couple of days at beachside, we have had an amazing couple of days, staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble, the accommodation was great, very spacious and clean.
