Jay and his colleague were a real help to me before and after the Poynton 10K last Sunday. I beat my personal best following a pre-race loosening-up sports massage, and felt easier when running. Thankyou!

Vicky is amazing! I called Vicky in agony with 2 slipped discs in my lower back. I had tried my usual chiropractor etc. and was on a lot of strong tablets from the doctors but I was still in so much pain. I called to see if Vicky could do a home visit as I was housebound at that point. She was so kind and spent a long time on the phone with me giving advice and exercises to help relieve the pain as she didn't have any last minute appointments and we made an appointment for the following week. I have been going weekly since then and although my recovery is a slow process, due to the nature of my injury, Vicky has been so positive and helped me to get so much more movement back. She's also helped me to understand the theory behind every exercise and approach so I feel I am beginning to understand the underlying problems with my back more and more each session. I look forward to my appointment every week as even if I've had a bad week with my back Vicky always manages to help me walk out of the studio moving far better and with a far better outlook than when I walked in! I couldn't recommend her highly enough. I also purchased a 66 Fit Lumbar Pad Cushion which Vicky recommended and sells in the studio. It was THE best thing I've bought- it helped me so much and I've literally used it everyday since I bought it! More...

I can wholeheartedly recommend Vickie (and Able2 Physio), she so deserves 5* ! I took my daughter with hamstring/back issues and Vickie managed to fit her in on short notice before a big athletics competition. (My daughter went on to get a couple of big PBs.) Vickie is friendly, professional, really knows her stuff and incredibly helpful. I will definitely go back to Vickie again. More...

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SO RUDE! Very glad that i did not end up using this company. Needed several jobs done and a few of the jobs they couldn't help me with but took me almost four weeks to get that information from them! ! Rude people in the office and no response to emails and very bad phone manners, plus they are never open when they say the are!!!! tried to make me feel very small and stupid for asking questions which obviously wasnt my expertiese. Ended up using another local company which deserved the job. Would have hated parting with my money to such awful people!! Steer clear of this place. More...

DO NOT USE ASSURED GLASS. Unbelievably horrendous - go elsewhere. Unless you want to laugh at how poor customer service can be. I needed a pane cut for a glass-topped tray: I tried visiting during opening hours but it was closed, so I tried emailing and got no response. I left voice messages but they would not accept measurements over the phone so I visited on a Saturday, left the tray and my contact details and was told it would be ready “in a couple of days.”THREE AND A HALF WEEKS LATER on the Wednesday, I got a call to say it was ready so I dropped in that Friday and was met by the rudest person I have met who was trying to run a business. My tray was produced with a pane of glass that rattled - it was both short and narrow. Not that I intend to use the tray upside-down, but should the desire arise the glass would simply fall out and probably shatter. I said politely that this was not what I wanted and was not fit for purpose. I said the tray was stored on its side, only to receive the response: “Well, nobody told me that.”Aren’t most trays stored on their sides? Is how the tray is stored somehow going to alter the dimensions required for the glass to fit properly? Before I could ask politely if a suitable pane could be cut, I was met with a barrage of excuses and inexcusable temperament:Apparently, it was my fault I had left my tray with his apprentice.Apparently, I should have supplied the required measurements.Apparently, they normally take a deposit. (I wasn’t asked for one. I probably would have paid in full upfront, had I been asked. A word to the wise: should you choose to commission work by this company, don’t pay anything until you receive goods you are satisfied with. I got the feeling I wouldn’t have had my deposit refunded. I certainly didn’t get the glass I hoped for. If you are looking for the entertainment factor in using Assured Glass, which seems to be the only thing that is assured then do not give them a penny. Otherwise the joke will be on you.)Forgive me for not being a glazier, or even a glazier”s apprentice, but if the item that requires glass is left in the professional”s hands, surely it would be measured? Would that not be the first and most important thing to do??I was then verbally pushed out of the door: my tray was thrust into my hands, the ill-fitting glass having been snatched out of it, and the cantankerous and miserable employee (I cannot believe he owned the business) told me he was having a bad day, told me to get out, he didn’t want to see me again, he was trying to run a business (more entertainment, mixed with a good measure of astonishment) and there were other glaziers down the road that I should bother and that I had wasted his time (this wannabe glazier would be better at stand-up - who wasted who’s time?)Apparently, he had other things to do, so he walked off from behind his counter and was gone.I stood there for a moment.I wasn’t sure if what had happened was real.I checked for CCTV to see whether this was a prank. Sadly, no CCTV.I left, my blood beginning to boil that I had been spoken to in such a way.In summation, DO NOT USE ASSURED GLASS.I try to support local businesses, I (usually) prefer the service and intimacy of using quality independent companies but I cannot emphasise the importance of avoiding this farcical outfit.Just to be clear, DO NOT USE ASSURED GLASS.If you have read this review, please take my word that I am not trying to exact revenge in some family feud. I have no professional or personal links with Assured Glass, for which I am eternally grateful. I have posted under my own name for authenticity. If you want to make a comment, I look forward to hearing from you. Maybe we could start a social media phenomenon about shared harrowing experiences with Assured Glass?! Oh, if you are from Assured Glass and want to make contact with me, don’t bother; you’ve burned that bridge, I won’t waste my time.If I could boil it down to five words, my initial thoughts rest with: DO NOT USE ASSURED GLASS.DO NOT USE ASSURED GLASS. With over 5 years of training in martial arts I would say this is the best self defence ( Japanese influence)club in Westminster.

The way a lot of other people teach martial arts for self defence in Western coutries they take it for granted that anybody you come up against can't handle themselves which is not what traditional martial arts was about as people trained to be able to test their skills against other martial artists. They also teach you like dance moves steps which is unrealistic and in reality it is not going to go down like that and you're going to be in a fight. In Bushin you get taught all round skills and techniques to be able to fight which are of real practical use and to be able to take on people who also might have skills. The method of training is also very good and is suited from complete beginners to people who are already quite well trained but can't be going to work the next day with a black eye or busted nose like if you went to a MMA gym. I've been here since the start, and it's made a huge difference in my life; it brought me confidence in myself, and helped me develop & fine-tune my perception of certain situations. The core principles have made learning to fight for myself a lot less stressful than I ever thought, and the camaraderie within the club is certainly a massive factor in my weekly return~!

A very friendly, social atmosphere, and a well-structured and managed class system. Worth a look~!

Despite being an effective, combat based martial art. Bushin is one of the least testosterone driven, egotistical martial arts organisations that I have been to.
The instructors are humble, kind and encouraging. When they demonstrate techniques, even a person with no prior training can tell that they are in well experienced hands.
The students, equally as kind and encouraging, are great fun to be around.

Bushin is an awesome fusion of fun, fitness and effective martial arts, all at your own pace.
