I wasn’t sure about acupuncture at all as didn’t know much about it. However, I was reccomended highly to Tim and went due to struggling with sleep. Afterwards, I felt much more relaxed and was able to sleep better as a result. Would highly reccomend to anyone with similar issue! More...

I started seeing Tim at 36 weeks of pregnancy due to terrible shooting pains in lower back. After just one treatment my pains disappeared and it’s been 3 weeks now and my back is still loads better than it had been in months! Moreover, as a sleep-deprived mum of a lively 2 year old, I’d been constantly feeling tired and found it really hard to relax. I couldn’t believe how relaxed I’ve been feeling since I started Tim’s treatment - my husband noticed straight away. Also, I feel like it’s helped me re-bond with my son as I find I now have a lot more patience with him and energy to do things together.. Btw, if you go and see Tim, please, ask him what brought him to study acupuncture. Not only will his response warm your heart but it’ll also make you understand why he’s so good at it. I can’t recommend him enough! More...

I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy earlier this week. After a succesful introduction to acupuncture when my wife was induced we rang Tim to see if this was something that would help with my condition. As it turns out acupuncture is perfect. We visited Tim on Friday and following the first session my mouth was much less numb and i stopped biting my lip which was a releafe as it was beginning to ulser. Back today for my second session and looking forward to it. More...

I work as a trainee surgeon in the NHS, and I feel this has given me a somewhat skeptical view of alternative therapies such as acupuncture. I had been suffering from chronic fatigue due to the rigors of my work which would not abate with any amount of rest, even at weekends. In addition to this I have suffered with the most dreadful migraines every couple of months, which left me needing a lie down in a dark, quiet room until they resolved themselves. These were not responsive to any of the analgesia I had tried, and I felt as though these and my fatigue were problems I was just going to have to deal with.I tried balance acupuncture following a recommendation, never expecting it to work coming from a very skeptical scientific background. However, within 5 minutes of the needles going in for my first session (which, coincidentally coincided with a migraine), my migraine was well and truly treated. My vision returned to normal, the nausea had gone and I was totally pain free. In addition to this following one session I felt like my fatigue had also been lifted, leaving me with more energy and allowing me to function much better.Tim is a professional, and knowledgeable practitioner of acupuncture who also has an excellent bedside manner and takes the time to listen to your problems. I have always felt at ease with him, and I know I'm in the hands of someone who knows what he is doing. I have no idea how acupuncture works, but I know it works for me and I wouldn't want to be treated anywhere except Balance Acupuncture. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. A superb service.
