What do you love most about your job?
Being able to spend the time with an individual and make a difference to their life. Building up that relationship in order to help and support them achieve their outcomes. The wonderful feeling that you get when you see an individual achieve a goal that they thought was out of their reach. Being there when your needed. Encouraging the individual to gain confidence to be as independent as they can.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After spending many years trying to get good care for others. I wanted to change the way in which care is being delivered and make a difference to peoples lives. It was sad to here families comment on the lack of continuity and basic care that was not being carried out, due to time constraints. I felt it was time that the profile of care was seen as the professional skilled role that it is.
