Impeccable service!!I came in with some issues with my wipers that would not stop. Richard advised me that whilst the diagnostic was chargeable, there would be no charge if no fault was found, which I found very reasonable. Whilst they found no mechanical fault, it led to a fault with the software and I would have to go to the manufacturer for a fix.Richard didn't charge me for this even though he and Paul spent time running the diagnostic and checking the features of the car.AVS are very honest and I would definitely go back to them again! They were extremely helpful in at least narrowing the problem for me and patient while they tried to diagnose the fault from my own reports and the diagnostic report. More...

This garage was recommended to me by someone who uses it for years.I came with my car as something was banging against the wheel. I was served very quickly and with very good customer service. As the problem was little the garage did not even charge me for securing the part which was making the noise. I was very impressed as the whole job took less then 20 minutes. Turned up before opening to find the garage already live and working on a Saturday morning. My brakes had failed over night and I was greeted with open arms and the offer of a warm beverage. Paul the onsite manager assured me not to worry and Escorted me to the owners office to use the wifi to log on and continue my days work. I had a seized Calliper and my pads and discs were worn beyond belief. (Managed to free of the calliper FOC BTW) Paul showed me these first hand and gave me such a reasonable price I asked if a service could be performed at the same time. I have worked for much larger Automotive brands over my career but the customer service and price makes me realise why the “AUTHORISED DEALERS” are struggling with such good, smaller family run garages are out there. I would highly recommend AVS for all work including MOT, servicing, repair and maintenance work. I have found them to be very good value for money when compared to other garages. They are also honest in their dealings, as they will not scare you into changing or repairing things that don't need it, which has been my unfortunate experience with many garages in the past.
