I would most definitely recommend Avant Garde Financial Services. We have used them three times when our fixed term mortgage has come to an end and each time Dean Laidlaw has managed to find us a better deal while also relieving us of all the fuss and complications associated with the process. Nothing is too much bother and Dean is always prepared to make a house visit, speak on the phone or communicate via email whenever we need to ask a question. He has the ability to explain things in a way which makes it easy to understand which we have always found immensely reassuring. Dean and Paul supported me in setting up my mortgage to purchase my first home a few years ago. The Advice they gave me was honest and the products identified worked out much cheaper than I had been quoted by the bank I had been with for many years. Dean was down to earth and friendly but very professional and was able to accommodate an evening visit as I work full time. He was very genuine and went above and beyond to get me the cheapest deal. Even after he had completed all of the paperwork for one product, he then found it slightly cheaper so he did it all again so we could save even more. Dean listened to our requirements and provided easy to digest information on all of the options available to us. We have since gone back to Avant Garde for our recent mortgage renewal and for our life/Critical illness cover. They have made the whole process so simple by doing all the paperwork, yet kept us informed every step of the way.
