I have had the pleasure of photographing Caroline’s projects, both residential and commercial, over the years, and the one word I could apply in every case is CLARITY: Caroline is crystal clear about the creative brief, works flat out to precisely prep the spaces we are going to shoot, and is fully attentive to the financial/ licensing aspects of any assignment. But such qualities alone do not an interior designer make! Seeing Caroline's design work first-hand enables me to appreciate her great skill and vision. A recent office project we photographed was colourful and originally conceived and yet totally practical at the same time. Caroline provided great flexibility for my interior design needs delivering detailed space planning and initial concept designs for my family bathroom and ensuite. She was great to work with and clearly passionate about her work offering additional snippets of advice over and above initial contract terms. I was extremely nervous about hiring an interior designer but I think Caroline's unique approach and flexibility allows you to feel still in control and leading on the design but with someone of much more experience and qualification guiding you through the process. I hired Caroline to help me with space planning and concept design for a new family bathroom and master ensuite. I was extremely nervous about hiring an interior designer as I am keen to complete most of the sourcing and design myself but knew I needed someone better qualified and experienced to lead me in the right direction.
I contacted a few companies and spoke to some suppliers locally but I was nervous that they would try to "take-over" and I felt slightly intimidated with how they wanted to approach the project - as well as the concern that the costs would spiral.
However, after a conversation with Caroline over the phone I was immediately put at ease. The end design is extremely well presented, will help tremendously with building quotes being maintained as well as the ease of the build process. I am also finding it much easier in my search for the fixtures and fittings having received additional advice from Caroline re preferred suppliers and hints of colours etc.
Caroline's flexibility is perfect for my house design needs. Her passion for her work shows in her eagerness to provide snippets of advice beyond the original contract terms and to respond to any of my random questions on anything from paint brands to colours. Yet despite going above and beyond she is true to her word in the original quote.
I will most definitely be turning to Caroline for other projects and have already recommended her to friends.

We back onto a very busy road and so our garden had suffered from years of unlove. We hired Stephen and gave him a blank canvas to work with and couldn't be more happy with the result. His plans were extremely professional and provided such detail that the build and implementation stage passed by with little drama. Stephen listened to our likes and dislikes and has given us a beautiful garden to sit in with a beautiful water feature and colourful and interesting plants, whilst also cleverly helping to reduce the noise from the road. The planting plan has been cleverly designed to give colour and structure all year round. What I believe Stephen excels in, is not only his extreme professionalism but also his planting knowledge , passion and cheerfulness which makes him a joy to work with. We hired Stephen Ryan based on a recommendation. During our first meeting he listened to our brief carefully as we already had very specific ideas about the garden design in order to compliment the interior design. Stephen took our ideas on board and added some new and unusual features that made our garden really stand out. Stephen transformed my garden in the Algarve. His design was superb and gave me the modern look I wanted. He suggested I remove a wall and install steps from the pool area into the garden and this has created such a wonderful, open feel- the way we use the Villa has completely changed- for the better!
Everyone who sees the garden comments on how beautiful it is, Stephen designed and built a beautiful day bed in the garden which is so relaxing and gives me a perfect, quiet space with lovely views of the garden and pool.

We recently hired Stephen and his team to transform our entire 0.75 acre garden plot. This included extensive boundary work as well as the creation of a large york stone patio, the refurbishment of an old well, new steps and new flower beds. The whole process - from design to the practical stages were articulated clearly and Stephen was onsite (actively involved) for the a large part of the eight week build. Great designer, helped me massively when I was trying to create an urban garden in the Cotswolds. He really listened to what I wanted to achieve and tweaked my ideas into something quite amazing. I now have the best space to enjoy with a sunken seating area, complete with a U-Shaped pond around it with a blade water feature and gas fireplace in the middle... perfect for cooler evenings plus different areas in the garden to relax in! The planting was delightful and really appeared to soften the whole scheme making the garden a very pleasant and comfortable space.
