I needed immigration services to bring my finance and family over. I paid £2000 and got some pro former letters sent the next day. then had a 19 min phone call and a 1 word reply to an email. a few weeks later with NO further work carried out I paid £6500 for the whole of the work that they would have had to do. Then ONE week later after NOTHING else had been done, my circumstances changed and meant my whole family life was over, my fiancé couldn't come and I lost everything. They would not give me back the £6500 on the grounds that on the original contract it said no refunds. They claim to be ethical and caring but they are anything but. They claim my reviews are false which they are not as I have evidence of everything and they say that because I said I would be leaving bad reviews it somehow makes them invalid or something! They had no good reason to keep the money as they did not earn it, so it was pure greed More...

Initially Chris was busy with a client ( by himself unbeknown to me ) and would answer the door .A bit peeved I was considering a poor review on here , however seeing such positive words I thought I would give him a chance . We were given Arlingsworth solicitors name by Citizens Advice. From the initial consultation right to the end the experience was very professional yet we also believed that they were sincerely looking out for our best interest (which is unusual for a solicitor). Our situation was extremely complex (I'm disabled and in receipt of benefits and transgender and my partner is Turkish and beautiful). With their guidance, support and a lot of hard work we got the result we hoped for. Although they charge a little more than most for their services, we believe that it is worth every penny. We know how hard they worked on our behalf. The letter they wrote supporting our case didn't leave any room for scrutiny. Every angle was covered and every 'i' was dotted. We received our visa and are now planning our wedding. Rahil and Chris along with all the staff were there for us all the way through the process. We feel extremely lucky to have been passed their name because we had applied before (without their help) and been refused.
