My initial search for a mobile app developer in the Denver area did not go well. I reached out to many, but only a few had their customer service up to speed. There was an attitude of “we’re far too busy and important.” For those companies, I hope they realize that it all begins and ends with customer service. And that’s where AppIt Ventures truly shines in my opinion. Where other companies requested that we schedule a meeting with them first, Rob wanted to come visit us. He wanted to get a feel for how we operated on a day-to-day basis instead of just talking details and numbers. So he drove to our corporate headquarters and we had a great interview. Another impressive aspect is AppIt has options. They have an in-house development team in addition to their overseas connections. That’s huge when it comes to timely, effective communication. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about working in custom software development is helping people realize their dreams by building exciting new software companies. It's a joy to learn about new industries, products, markets and opportunities. Software has become intertwined in all aspects of developing new businesses that we get to really partner with our clients in understanding all aspects of their business and then help them develop world class solutions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'd actually developed my own business plan application. Once people had found out that I'd built an application for myself they asked me to help them in developing software for their businesses. AppIt Ventures grew out of my own enjoyment of helping people succeed through software.
