My 1 year old pug, Diddy Winston was diagnosed with hemivertebrae at 6 months old. I thought his future looked dim seeing as he couldn’t walk properly without wobbling, couldn’t jump, go up or down the stairs and hardly any muscle mass in his hind legs. He didn’t have much confidence moving around but, at the end of Nov ‘18 we began hydrotherapy and 6 months on he is a different dog. He can now jump up to things, jump off the floor and land properly, walk evenly on all fours, go up and down the stairs and most importantly, loves turning up to ARC every week to see his new favourite humans, Victoria, Grace and Ellis! I would recommend every dog owner to go here even if it’s not for treatment purposes and just for a fun swim! Thank you for all the hard work and without you, I would’ve struggled to have hope that my dog would ever be able to walk properly and have no other choice than going forward with surgery. More...
