Just what I don't need at the moment, my fridge freezer to on it's last legs and having to buy a new one, or so I thought. Having looked around yell.com I stumbled upon this company and thought it was worth a try rather than having to replace the fridge freezer completely. Spoke to a gentleman told them the issue I was having with the fridge side, he asked me to check a few things, seemed to know his stuff and the potential problem I had. Now the all important money conversation, as with any service you are expecting a call out cost + parts, and yes + VAT was mentioned too. I agreed and promptly was booked in for a visit.When they visited the problem seemed to be quickly fixed with some replacement parts that they had on the van. I fully expected a 2nd visit but was surprised. Clean tidy and very professional. Cost a lot less that replacing the whole fridge freezer.Can't recommend them enough. Thank you for help. More...

Woke up this morning to find that neither side of our Samsung fridge freezer was working! I called and Mark called me back. I was in the middle of sorting salvaging what I could so he offered to call me back in half an hour, which he did. He explained how much it would be + VAT, which made things really clear for us. He said he could come the same day, which I was obviously delighted with. We then had a power cut at home. To be honest I thought "what else is going to go wrong today!" I called him and he said to let him know when it was back on and he would do everything he could to still come today. Well, within 2 hours I had the electric back on and Mark mending my fridge freezer! Delighted with the competent, friendly and expert service. I would honestly not go anywhere else and would highly recommend them. Professional service from a friendly firm. I got your number from a very helpful lady at Samsung customer care and she told us we would need to call you - their premier service centre. Following your visit, I wanted to leave feedback on the Samsung website about our great service experience from you but there was nowhere to do so, so I decided to leave it here instead! I just wanted to thank you for an excellent customer service experience. I was disappointed that Samsung could not assist me further as my fridge freezer was just out of its guarantee - however, your speed of service and professionalism in dealing with my fault was second to none. The price you quoted over the phone was very fair for the work undertaken and the work was done to a high standard. Your company are a credit to Samsung and it is good to know you work on most other makes of fridge freezers too as we have a couple of old ones that may need some TLC soon! Wow! What a company! So I called the owner of the company on Sunday afternoon and he actually spent about 25 mins on the phone diagnosing the fault and helped me work out what the problem was so he could give me an idea of potential part costs. He managed to get one of his engineers over to me today.We had already been recommended to use these guys from a couple of other people we know – one of which being a property landlord who has now used them four times over the years.After being told the total cost of the call out and labour and was told the same price applied – no matter how long the engineer was there for and then advised of the potential part costs, we were happy to proceed.Amazingly, despite being told of the potential part costs and agreeing to this, there actually weren’t any! The engineer spent over an hour trying to fix a part rather than replace it so it was just the agreed labour cost only. Nice one guys!I would sincerely recommend these guys to anyone. More...

I was very pleased with the person at the end of the phone who had knowledge about the problem with my Samsung fridge and was able to give me a quote for the whole job. I told the engineer at anglia domestic refrigeration that I would leave a review on here for them if there repair worked. I had 2 other companies out before them . the 1st company said they fixed it and it packed up the next day and they did another repair and the same thing happened again. the 2nd company looked at it and fitted different parts to the first company which were even more expensive and the next day it stopped working again as well. we phoned the manufacturer who told us to call anglia domestic refrigeration. the engineer came round and found the problem was with a faulty sensor and replaced it. the repair was done nearly 3 weeks ago now and our fridge has been working just great. I wanted to make sure it was working properly before leaving this review though!!! the total bill from anglia domestic refrigeration was not just cheaper than the first two companies I had out but most importantly they knew how to fix it. Wish I had gone to ADR first. Having gone to another company first to save on call out fee they were unable to diagnose the problem. So as I really wanted to save the fridge/freezer, I called ADR. They diagnosed the problem, located the part and fitted it arriving at the specified time Very efficient service and the call out fee was taken off the cost of the repair More...

Speedy and well informed service. My Samsung fridge freezer developed a fault which turned out to be the compressor. I phoned and spoke to Mark who was very helpful from the start, advising me what the problems could be etc. I was lucky enough to be able to have him call round the same day. He had the parts needed for the job in stock so he was able to fix it there and then.Absolutely excellent service and highly recommended!! More...

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Anglia Domestic Refrigeration for a wonderful service my husband and I received when our Samsung fridge freezer developed a fault. After initially contacting a couple of firms that wouldn’t even work on it, we contacted Samsung directly who gave us the phone number and details of Anglia Domestic Refrigeration. We looked them up on Yell.Com and phoned them on Saturday night expecting to leave a voice message. They did answer though, and managed to get us an appointment for Monday. We were also advised of the call out charge and were informed it was a fixed price no matter how long the repair took to complete which we were very happy about. The engineer turned up at the time previously advised on the phone, smartly dressed, very friendly and well mannered. He diagnosed the fault within a few minutes, and advised us of the problem and the cost of the parts required. We were initially worried that it may not be repairable, and so we were delighted that it could be fixed. We asked the engineer when he would be back to fix it, and he told us that he was able to do it there and then, as they have a large supply of parts and try to bring any parts that are most likely going to be needed on the day. The engineer completed the repair in just over an hour, cleaned the area where he had been working, advised us of some general points regarding the fridge and that was that. From start to finish, we were thrilled with the service from the initial phone call to the completion of the repair, and would happily recommend Anglia Domestic Refrigeration to anyone having problems with their fridge freezer.
