I own a World War Two RAF Pilot leather jacket, which was previously owned and used by a family member during the second world war. This had been given to me recently. Over the years this jacket had come into major disrepair. I am lucky enough to be a RAF Pilot also, and so I wanted to try and get this original jacket back into some semblance of its former glory. I researched specialist leather tailors, and came across Alterations Boutique. From the start I could tell the team were professional, took pride in their work, and most importantly for me understood the emotional connection I had with the jacket, and the full understanding that it is a piece of history. I knew it would be a tough undertaking to repair the jacket. But they were up for the challenge!As it was an unusual and challenging request, I knew the repair would take some time, even so the team kept me fully up to date, knowing a thorough and well thought out job was better than a rushed one!The result is outstanding. All the loose seams are now repaired, holes have been patched up, and the collars and cuffs back to how they should be, It is better than I could have hoped, and now it is a proud (and wearable) legacy of my ancestors wartime service over 80 years ago.Thank you again to everyone at AB! Clothing and suit alterations at it's best. I am so pleased with the quick and very precise tailoring. My wedding alterations were carried out to the highest standards. I bought a new Burberry suit on sale and was looking for a high-quality tailor to alter it for me. I found Alterations Boutique online while searching for a tailor in central London. I took my suit there without making an appointment and was seen straight away. The tailor was very professional and I felt confident he would do a great job. n May 2018, I sent an e-mail enquiry to AB Alterations Boutique enquiring if they could make alterations to a double-breasted blazer that used to fit me prior to being diagnosed and treated for Cancer, within 24 hours I had received a lovely response back asking me what alterations needed doing. I replied with as much information as I could and to my delight the owner of AB kindly invited me to visit the shop so that a member of staff, Valerie could look at the blazer. When I arrived, Valerie went out of her way to make me feel very welcome and she was very thorough and professional and quick to make the finer adjustments. She advised that due the significant work needed to re-size my blazer it would take approx. 3 weeks to complete and gave me a collection date. As expected 2 days before the collection date I received a text messages advising me that my jacket was ready for collection. When I arrived a very kind gentleman fitted my newly altered blazer and to my delight it fits perfectly, you would never know that it had been adjusted so much. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank AB Boutique for everything that they have done, the service they offer excellent, it's high quality tailoring at its best. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a garment to be altered.

As a man with only 23 inch inside leg it is VERY... In fact IMPOSSIBLE for me to ever find trousers that fit. I used to get my mother to alter them, but her health is declining. After research I found this place with good reviews. And yes, the review live up to their name. They measure and pin each air o the right length.

They were also able to deepen my pockets for me as my phone kept falling out as it wasn't deep enough and I don't like my phone poking out so people can see it. Great service. Better and cheaper then many places and will continue to go each time! More...

Phenomenal tailoring - the best I’ve ever come across.

London is a city not lacking a supply of tailors; however, Alterations Boutique is the ONLY tailor with a 5* rating, and with over 300 reviews too, which goes to show that I’m not unique in my experience.

My tailor, Adriatic, was highly skilled and knew exactly what was required. He knew better than myself, what needed to be done to achieve the perfect suit for myself - which is quite something given that fashion is strong passion of mine. Adriatic knew where to lengthen, where to take in, where to let out, and where to taper within moments of looking at the suit, which went to show his vast levels of experience in tailoring.

Upon returning to collect the suit, I was offered the chance to try on the newly tailored cloth, and suggest any further alterations.

But it’s not only the tailoring which sets Alterations Boutique apart from the rest. After leaving with a minor concern (something wholly unrelated to the tailoring of my suit), I was contacted by the Director, Raoul, who took it upon himself to personally ensure my matter was resolved - something which gave the service an extra personal touch!

Will definitely be returning to tailor more garments, and will recommend to everyone! More...

On the second fitting on the final piece I thought the product was fine there but when I got home I saw that the shoulders had been brought in when they shouldn't have been, everything else was perfect bar the shoulders. I took it back to the store and they were more than happy to fix the problem at no expense. A few days later I get a call from the manager who was very apologetic but foremost a very genuine guy! He offered me half the money back for the troubles which I saw as very generous. Their tailors are very skilled and the staff very friendly. I have used AB for some 2 years now, as the location and quality of work is excellent and prices fair. I have put in some 15 plus items and have done excellent men's' suit and jacket alterations. As the tailors are actually all Ex Saville Row! I have seen some the ladies quite satisfied with alteration. As a frequent visitor have seen some glamorous dresses fit perfectly!!!
