I am a multi instrumentalist offering Guitar, Banjo, Ukulele and Mandolin lessons. I cover a wide range of styles including folk, bluegrass, classical, blues, jazz, rock and pop. I like to personalise all of my lessons to cater for the individual student, with a big emphasis on improvisation and playing with others.

What do you love most about your job?
I love to see the progression and development in my students music.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved playing music ever since i started playing the guitar at 12 years old (I'm 32 now), and I've always wanted a job working with and helping people. So now I have the best of both worlds, in which i can help people and inspire them in their musical journeys whilst having fun playing music together.
Why should our clients choose you?
You should choose me, as I have both the musical expertise and (most importantly) the ability to teach and inspire. I believe my flexible approach to teaching will help you get the best out of your talents.
Guitar lessons
I teach a wide range of styles on both electric and acoustic. From Bluegrass and Folk to Blues, Rock and Jazz. I like to work on good playing technique for a strong foundation to build upon. I can also provide the right amount of theory to help you understand the guitar and to find your own voice!
Banjo lessons
I teach folk, bluegrass and clawhammer for the 5 string banjo. I can start you off with excellent technique then build up a good repertoire of bluegrass/folk classics and help you improvise and jam with others.
Ukulele lessons
I teach all styles from folky finger picking to Hawaiian or George Formby style strumming! As well as one to one lessons, I also teach a number of group classes.
Mandolin lessons
Folk, bluegrass, blues and classical.
