How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?

Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
If on a terrace house would recommend party wall act as this could interfere with build if not done
Removing old loft insulation
If there is a water tank in loft either removed or re located
Install steels near to eves to take new floor joist which have to be 20mm above ceiling (plasterboard)
Timbers bolted into web of stee to allow new joist to be put on hangers
New pipe work if necessary
Chicken wire in between new joists then sound block insulation
If having dorma then either a steel is required to take load of roof and flat roof of dorma or can be done done with stud work at 300cc and both sides of timber frame covered in 18mm ply to allow for weight stress
Existing roof to have 6x2 timers full length bolted to it 600cc ,100mm celotex insulation in between rafters, with 50mm air gap
50mm celotex over with vapour barrier then baton then plaster board

Roof cut away where dorma is going,
Dorma constructed and cheeks (sides )
Using 6x2
1st fix electrics
100 mm celotex in between up rights and 50mm over top, caper barrier then baton on up right to allow for sockets without piercing barrier
Flat roof constructed, firring, then 18mm ply first deck , vapour barrier 100mm celotex put on top then 50mm over this then anothe 18mm deck ready for roofing material either fibre glass ( not recommended or single ply)
Once apertures have windows in
