Lovely, clean salon with friendly staff. I had a nano-keratin treatment (like a Brazilian blow dry but without the formaldehyde) and a haircut. Chetna has been colouring and styling my hair since 2013, and most recently has been cutting my partners hair since I converted him from queuing in random barber shops. I now travel from outer London to see Chetna on a regular basis as she always knows what my hair needs in terms of treatment, what colours/ styles look best and how to create something unique on each visit. The recent balayage colour was quite honestly the best style change I have had. This customer service is of high quality at Aglaea - very accommodating, friendly, professional, relaxing environment. Now that I have my hair done here I would not consider going anywhere else. Chetna is simply excellent! She advises you correctly and I am always happy with the colour afterwards. These guys were great!! Went to give the new Babyliss Pro Curl a go and they used it beautifully! I was really happy with the results and my curls lasted ages!

A really friendly atmosphere and they even lets eat my lunch while doing my hair!

I had my first Brazilian blow dry last month which was the best decision I have made for my hair. I have a wavy frizzy hair cut into a graduated bob. It used to require blow drying every day, taking me around 30 mins and lots of products (hair spray, serum) to keep it looking sleek. However ..... Since the Brazilian blow dry it is done in less than 5 mins. I can dry it without any hairbrushes or any products, it remains straight and sleek throughout an entire day with volume. I can then get up the next day and there are no kinks to straighten out. No maintenance required the next day either. Other benefits i have noticed are: my hair is a lot stronger, no split ends, shinier, softer and has grown incredibly fast since the Brazilian treatment. So glad you have opened on Lavender Hill! Finally a cut that has ticked every box. Having tried various high street names and local salons, only to be disappointed on numerous occasions, it was amazing to leave Bumble last friday night with a cut that is still making me feel good. This place is really a BIG surprise in an absolutely positive way. I had trouble with my color since 2 stylists from different salons couldn‘t get my blond ashy, but almost yellow/orange. In this Salon, there were color tests made during the consultation with my own hair. The owner took so much time for me and seemed to be very perfectionist about everything she was doing. Then they started and seemed to take care of every wisp of hair since she thought it is important to be slightly lighter around the face to get the right effect. I have had my hair cut by Chetna since 2004. I cannot imagine going to anyone else for a hair cut or colour. I trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone wanting a great cut.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else now that I have discovered Aglaea! Despite the fact that I now live outside of London, I still travel in for appointments as I really trust Chetna with my hair. Chetna is an amazingly skilled colourist and stylist. Unlike at other salons, where I feel people often get frustrated if you are not very eloquent at expressing exactly what you hope to achieve, she listens very patiently, helps to provide clarity and then delivers amazing results. The colour she creates always looks so natural and lasts really well, and her cutting skills are also second to none. She takes time and care in creating exactly what you want. She is also totally fabulous at blowdries in a variety of styles, which always last for days. I first discovered Chetna through a friend of mine who always has gorgeous hair, and I’ve had so many compliments since seeing her. Chetna is so friendly and the salon has a lovely atmosphere. She fixed a bad bob haircut I had in 2015. I recently went to Aglaea again to have my hair colour fixed. My hair was a disaster. Chetna listened to me and created a bespoke hair colour. I have a lovely balayage hair now. She truly transformed my hair. I also had a smart bond treatment that really helped improve my hair. I had such an amazing experience at Aglaea's. I completely messed up my hair with a home dye kit. Chetna and her apprentice Maria were amazing. I had been turned away from another salon that day, saying the job was too big and the initial result would not turn out well.
But when I went in to Aglae's Chetna sat me down and talked me through all the different options, hair colours and colour correction methods she could do. I felt so at ease and looked after the whole time, which was perfect because I was so upset about the terrible colour I managed to dye my hair at home.

Would throughly recommend, and I will defiantly be going back when ever I am in London. More...
