I was recommended to shoot with Aaron through a friend that had never even met him; she'd only seen his photos. I decided to go off on a whim and get in contact with him and it was a great decision. Aaron was very easy to work with, giving me guidance and direction throughout the whole shoot. He called me to come back and reshoot some pictures that he did not think were up to par with his previous work, for no charge. He also followed up with me weeks after my shoot to discuss goals that I should shoot for to do well in my modeling career. When I first started modeling I couldn't understand why it was hard for me to get the jobs I wanted until I realized my portfolio wasn't good enough. When I began working with Aaron he educated me on the importance of updating my work and what modeling agencies in this area are looking for. Working with Aaron Geller was a step towards taking responsibility for my modeling and acting career by investing in what would be my first impression in these industries. I went from an amateur to a professional that day, making $0 doing a bunch of TFP shoots and free runway gigs for a year to averaging $325/mo in just 4 months (car note!). Not bad for someone just starting out! I never got around to telling you thanks and updating you on the happenings of my career since our photoshoot last August. With the photos from our shoot in tow, I impressed an agency so much that day they contacted me within a week to sign with them. Fortunately it was non-exclusive/non-restricting and I was able to go on to sign with two others: one who got me 2 paid modeling gigs in the first month and the other where I was able to book 2 big-named commercials. One of which I was unable to do only because of a scheduling conflict! The director of another commercial I did, which wasn't affiliated with these agencies, even made it clear that what set me apart from the stiff competition he'd seen before me was the "collage of expressions", as I like to call it, that you shot of me and it showed my personality (clients of Aaron's know what I'm referring to). Since this section wouldn't allow it, I uploaded in your posts still-shots of me in 2 of these commercials. One was for Michigan's #1 Chevy Dealer, which is still being aired on television, and the other was for Oakridge Dental which was shown in theaters around the holidays. Thanks a bunch Aaron! I can definitely note some things I learned from my bit of time with you. The trip from Detroit to Grand Rapids was well worth it. I'm looking forward to our working together again! More...
