AAA came out and replaced my water heater on short notice when it died on me. Sean was very patient in going over various new models with me, which I greatly appreciated - it seems like most water heater model reviews are either five stars or one star, which may make sense from a human behavior point of view (people are more likely to write a review of something if their experience is great or terrible) but makes it tough to sort out the water heaters you don't want unless the one-star reviews dominate. I was trying to find that perfect balance of energy efficiency, recharge time, capacity, reliability, and price while getting a tank that conformed to my current ventilation setup. (Sure, you can get any model you want - the question is how much you're willing to pay to modify your ventilation setup, and Sean was quite upfront about the amount of work and the cost to change setups.) For my needs I ended up selecting a model not in AAA's standard inventory. Sean was very helpful in reviewing the specifications and setting my mind at ease that I was not about to waste $2,000+.I waited to post my review for several weeks because I wanted to be able to write about my experience after having my new water heater for a while. The exact model is irrelevant, what I can tell you is that Sean did not steer me wrong. My new water heater is working just fine.What I can also say about my experience with Sean and his team is they did more than just install my water heater. When they looked at the feed pipes in my utility room they noticed that whoever installed my old water heater did not do it properly and had bent/twisted the copper slightly - enough to put undue stress on the interface/mounting point/whatever where the pipes connect with the tank. They swapped out the damaged portion and just moved my new tank a few inches so the problem would not be repeated. Then, they tested my new tank setup before leaving, noticed a leak in the new pipe joint, and made sure it was fixed before departing.What can I say, other than I appreciate professionalism and quality work when I see it. I chose AAA HVAC after learning they install and service all brands, not just one or two manufacturers most companies carry. The level of communication before, during, and after the install was exceptional. The leadership and techs were very knowledgeable, came to visit prior to install to go over the plan, and followed up once completed. AAA HVAC is fast, friendly and fair. We had an issue with our AC on a 100* day and called them that morning. They were there within 2 hrs and fixed the issue. Only charging me for an inspection even though they had to do some other work. Sean and his team did a great job of not only providing honest advice but also offering great service. His team worked into the late hours to install our new ac and furnance even when they could have very easily called it a night and tried to finish the next day. A week of fighting with a home warranty company and dealing with the awful heat inside a home with asthmatic kids came to an end when I called AAA HVAC. They were out the SAME DAY I called! AMAZING!!! A gentleman came out and correctly diagnosed the problem. He went an extra step just to make sure we didn't have to replace our entire system. Unfortunately we did, but AAA HVAC made the entire process efficient, seamless, and they did it expeditiously. They were out the very next day installing our new system. Dealing with outside heat pump compressor unite issue for 4/5 days i called my warranty. They send technician and he told me that my compressor is short to ground i need to replace whole unit . He told me that it will cost me more than $2500.00 . He also suggested me to replace whole out side and inside heating and cooling unit. Moreover, he said that he will give a good deal. I called my warranty and they said that it is a preexisting condition and they will not cover my compressor replacement charge. I was so upset. I wanted to take second opinion from different technician. I searched on internet and found AAA HVAC service and took appointment for this afternoon. Sean and Alex showed up on time. when they came and checked my outside unit they immediately figure out that there was a simple wiring problem. They fixed it. They only replace filter of the unit. The overall cost for me to fix the problem is so resealable . I found SEAN and ALEX so professional, understands costumers feeling and trust worthy. My 17 year old Freon heat pump seized, so I needed to replace both the air handler and the condenser. Got AAA's contact info from an online HVAC equipment seller and Sean responded to my email that evening. He agreed to install equipment that I purchased online, or he could match their price and could have it installed two days later. He came out the next day with Alex to look over everything, and recommended new copper lines. AAA's install team arrived promptly the following day. They were polite, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. They neatly cut 2 holes in my finished ceiling, removed the old and installed the new lines, replaced the drywall (I had to finish and paint) along with the new equipment. AAA HVAC was super responsive as soon as I gave them a call and seemed really interested in helping me out with a replacement Carrier unit. I had Costco (F.H. Furr) bid my townhouse for about 3-5k more than AAA (Costco has some rebates, promotions etc that got them within $1500) for a Lennox unit that I think is inferior.

Sean and Alex stopped by personally to measure my heat pump and air handler and walk me through some options and didn't try to up-sell me on humidifiers or a system bigger than I needed. Both guys seemed knowledgeable and professional (Especially Alex) in terms of their installation/products.

I ended up selecting a 2.5 ton 16 SEER Carrier unit that was installed about three days after the initial consultation. The crew arrived around 9:30 am and was totally done by 2:30. The heat blows hot and the cooling has yet to be tested since it's been an arctic winter in VA.

I deducted a star because the crew left me a reusable filter that didn't fit, and because they left some debris in the yard and family room after the install. Certainly not a dealbreaker because I suspect those guys were pretty busy and couldn't hang around for a site clean-up.

They also installed my 2nd Gen. Nest Thermostat at no cost, really. Alex and Sean even stopped by to make sure it was programmed correctly after the job was done. I'm recommending them to other people and will be using them in the future for maintenance etc.

Alex and his team installed for us a new HVAC system. Alex was very good about answering our questions. His team worked in a timely manner and cleaned after themselves. We were very happy with their service.

Within minutes of calling AAA HVAC Services on a very frigid night at about 6:30 pm, we had an appointment set up for the next day. The motor on our furnace had died inside the condo of our special needs sister. Sean and Alex were knowledgeable and kept us informed by instant message all through the process. I am the Director of Operations at Peabody Residential, a property management firm in Northern VA. I manage the Maintenance Department, and we handle more than 250 single family properties. I was contacted by Tammy, the Office Manager at AAA HVAC just about a year ago. I was very impressed by her professional manner. I decided to give AAA HVAC a try based on her presentation. I think that was one of the best decisions I made last year! AAA HVAC very quickly became my number one preferred HVAC vendor. Their prices are good, but even more importantly, their customer service is extraordinary. They react quickly for our clients, they do great work, the tenants even love them! We have used them 91 times (yes, I counted) and I have not a single detrimental thing to say about them. The two owners give us great service, going over and above on weekends and even on holidays.
