I have been taking singing lessons with Phoebe, the owner of A Touch of Musicality for a while now, and they are fantastic. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease straight away and is forever bright and encouraging. When she opened her new school I booked my lessons in straight away. Even more exciting is that the school offers piano and guitar lessons (And more). I have now had a few lessons with Matt, the Guitar teacher and have already booked in for the whole term - he is relaxed and friendly, and clearly loves his job. The communal space is a great place, and you feel so welcome. Tea, coffee and local home made produce is available which is a blessing. I never feel like I have to rush off after a lesson, and I know if I arrive early I am welcome to sit and wait in this lovely light and comfortable space. All the teachers have been really friendly when I have come into contact with them. I cannot recommend this music school highly enough! More...

I strongly recommend A Touch Of Musicality music school. My singing improves all the time under the tutelage of Phoebe. She’s a fabulous singing teacher as are all the others, whether you’re wanting to brush up or to learn guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, theory, composition etc, etc. It’s such a cool place too!

I started having singing lessons with Phoebe last year. I have never had a lot of confidence, but Phoebe has helped me so much to overcome my fears and I was able to take and pass my Grade 5 singing exam this summer. I couldn’t have done this without Phoebe’s incredible support and excellent teaching! I have also recently started having musical theory lessons with Atalia, who is equally as encouraging and awesome! Phoebe, what can I say? It has been really great to be working with you in my Vocal lessons and well worth it for the improvement that I have made. You are an excellent teacher and you know what you are talking about. I love the place you have newly opened to be able to work with people. A warm, welcoming and friendly place with refreshments and somewhere to sit. A bit different to going to a shed at the bottom of the garden, but it still never stopped anyone singing. Haha!
