I am a piano and music theory teacher. As my parents worked in the music industry, I showed interest in music at a very young age. I was trained as a classical pianist. After finishing my degree, I also studied harmony and arrangements in jazz and modern music. That allows me to play and teach different styles.

I took voice and piano lessons at Harmony House for 5 years and it was such a positive experience. The teachers are all so dedicated and helpful, always pushing you to be better. I was also given the opportunity to be in vocal ensembles and various bands throughout the years which was maybe the best part of it all. I learned so many skills (musical and personal) in these programs that have been useful in numerous aspects of my life since. Harmony House is more than just a music school, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's such a fun school to be a part of!

I provide online lessons using Zoom. I have one camera facing me, one camera aimed at my keyboard so that I can show you things along the way. I ask my students to have a similar setup so that I can see both the students' face and their hand position on their keyboard. I'll either send you material by email in advance or we'll follow along the same book.
For the students who request in-person lessons in my home studio in Vancouver: both students and myself wear masks throughout the lesson and sanitize our hands before the lesson begins. I also wear a face shield for additional protection. The piano and bench is thoroughly sanitized prior and after lessons.
