Welcome! Ms Sinyu Tsang (M.A., DipABRSM, BCRMT) is an experienced piano teacher, accompanist and performer based in Richmond, BC. She is a professional in teaching the RCM, ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses, also in all music styles. Her students ranged from beginner to diploma level, of all ages.

I highly recommend Sinyu. My son has been taking lessons from her since last year and I have seen significant progress and improvement in his piano skills.
What I appreciate most about Sinyu is her ability to keep my son interested and engaged in piano. She provides positive comments and encouragement to my son, which motivates him to practice and improve.
Sinyu is also very calm and patient, which makes my son feel comfortable during the lessons. She has a great teaching style and is always professional.
Overall, I am very happy with my son's progress under Sinyu’s guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great piano instructor. Thank you Sinyu for your dedication and hard work!

My son has learned piano since Sept 2021. Ms Tsang is his piano teacher from the beginning. We can see he has made a great progress from knowing nothing in piano then now he can play songs very confidently. Ms Tsang is very patient and nice. Even though my kid is not quite in love with playing piano at the beginning, Ms Tsang always encourages him to play and we are very grateful for her. My three kids (they are now pursuing ABRSM grade 8, 6 and 2) having lesson from Ms Tsang since 2021. We are happy with the learning plan designed by Ms Tsang (completing exam in a limited timeframe but also learning different style of piano pieces at the same time). Ms Tsang is an experienced and professional teacher. She always offer help even my kids practice at home. She also teaches music theory during classes. As an adult student with a somewhat hectic schedule, I am incredibly happy that I found Sinyu as a teacher. Sinyu has helped me in every aspect of playing, from technique and site reading to understanding rhythm and breathing. She is extremely knowledgeable, and always patient and positive. We also always manage to have fun during our lessons even when I am struggling through something. We cover many areas of music and she teaches with my musical interests in mind. In my opinion, it’s not easy for children to volunteer practicing piano everyday unless they really like it. Ms. Tsang is very patient and inspires my daughter by understanding what music she likes and works on the skills she needs to improve on in order to get to the next step. She also focus on ensuring my daughter has the correct posture and hand position. My daughter loves Ms. Tsang, and I am happy to see that she enjoys playing piano a little more everyday. More...

My son has been taking Miss Tsang’s class for 3 months. He started from zero and is able to play the songs on his book now.
I like Miss Tsang’s teaching. She is patient with my son and she’s knowledgeable with the content, most importantly she’s organized with the content and her assignment guides my son’s practice after the class. She always checks the result at the class and corrects mistakes my son makes. She’s a great teacher.
