How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

A healthy diet is one of the most important components of living a healthy life! A healthy diet could protect against medical conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. However, many people still struggle with eating healthy on a regular basis...and that's why I'm here! I help people stay motivated, accountable, and consistent with healthy eating habits, while providing ongoing nutritional advice. Keep on reading to find out how I could help you! =)

What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to directly help clients achieve their health and fitness goals! I enjoy being their cheerleader when they need extra encouragement, their teacher when they need to learn new skills, their guide when they need some direction, and their accountability partner when they need to stay consistent with their actions. I love seeing the transformation in my clients, whether it be fitting into their old clothes again, or being able to keep up with their kids, they are all impressive achievements!

What inspired you to start your own business?

Through my years of working in pharmacy, I have realized that many chronic medical conditions (such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, low back pain, arthritis, etc.) could be prevented or improved by regular exercise and healthy nutritional habits, so I shifted my focus to preventative health instead. With my unique educational background as a pharmacist and my own struggles with different medical conditions (I have an autoimmune disease and PCOS which puts me at higher risk of diabetes and heart disease), I have found my passion in empowering others to live healthier and happier lives, without having to resort to using medications!

Why should our clients choose you?

You should choose me because I will be there for you the entire journey, as I genuinely care about your health and wellness. I am also a lifelong learner, so in addition to my two university degrees (in biology and pharmacy) and multiple certifications in fitness and nutrition, I am always looking for more ways to improve my services to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible. Helping you improve your health is what truly makes me happy! =)

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes! My services are only provided online. You will be using an online coaching software that could be accessed via your computer or smartphone. We will meet at regular intervals virtually on Zoom. In addition, you have unlimited access to me via text messaging and emails. Let's start your journey to health and wellness from the comfort of your own home! =)

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

My services are all offered online, with zero risk of Covid-19!

Nutritionists & Dietitians FAQs

Your specialist will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to help you select the best treatment for your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a specialist today.

Dietitians are the only health professionals regulated and protected by law. Registered Nutritionists can provide evidence-based advice and information about food and healthy eating. Nutritional therapists provide alternative treatment, based on the idea that the body needs 'healing' and 'correcting'.

  • Credentials - Find a specialist that has the credentials to support your personal needs.

  • Experience - Ask how long your Dietitian or Nutritionist has been practising and look up their background.

  • Gimmicks - Check your specialist is not supporting an unsuitable diet brand or supplement.

  • Right fit - Make sure they are upfront in the areas they specialise in and are able to make referrals if your needs are outside their comfort zone.

The minimum requirement for a Dietitian is a degree in Dietetics or a related science degree with a postgraduate diploma or higher degree in Dietetics. Nutritionists should have attended a course which is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).

Before you choose either a Nutritionist or a Dietitian, you could read testimonials and read reviews on their website. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read reviews from past customers too.

Absolutely! Whether it's receiving advice on how to tackle food allergies or a bespoke diet plan to help you live healthier, your expert will be able to support you via video call or the telephone. In fact, online nutritionists and dietitians have become increasingly popular, not least because they save you the time (and costs!) of travelling.

Bark is trusted by millions of customers and professionals worldwide. We find the best local and online professionals for you, for free! Simply tell us what you're looking for and we'll take care of the rest. We'll connect you with the best professionals for your job in minutes.
