How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

I think it goes without saying that a healthy diet has the opportunity to completely change a person's health and wellness in the best way possible! However, I don't believe that most people need a complete overhaul of their diet - tiny changes over the long run can make a big difference! And even as a dietitian whose main focus and expertise is in nutrition, I recognize that food is not the only factor in improving health. It's important to take a holistic approach and consider factors such as physical activity, stress level, sleep, and mental and emotional wellbeing; nutrition is just one piece of the health and wellness puzzle!

What do you love most about your job?

I love working with people and helping them optimize their health through nutrition and lifestyle.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Running a virtual business means that I can support people across Canada and the United States, as opposed to just my physical location. This provides many more opportunities to help those struggling with their health!

Why should our clients choose you?

I practice from an evidence-based approach and provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for my clients. I work together with my clients to help them meet their specific goals in a realistic and sustainable manner. I am passionate about ditching diet culture and nutrition misinformation and fostering a healthy relationship with food for my clients.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes, I am only able to provide services online/remotely, at this time. As each province in Canada has their own dietetic regulations, my services are available to residents of BC, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and the Territories. I am also registered in the United States, so am also able to support US based clients (depending on the state of residence - please contact me for more info, if interested).

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

My services are online, therefore this is a zero Covid-19 risk!
