Our mission is to change each and everyone of our customers lives by assisting in tasks such as home cleaning, grocery shopping, errands, pet sitting, house sitting, and laundry services. Terms of service Definitions “The Company” – means Caring Cleaners “Cleaner or Cleaning Technician” – means the person whom is carrying out cleaning services on behalf of the Company. “Client” – means the person to whom the cleaning services are supplied by the Company. “Service” – means the cleaning services carried out on behalf of the Company. “Cleaning appointment” – means the visit to the Client’s service address by the Cleaner. Contract These Terms and Conditions represent a contract between Caring Cleaners and The Client. The Client agrees that any use of The Company’s services, including placing an order for services by telephone, email or website forms shall constitute the Client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise agreed in writing these Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any other terms of business or purchase conditions put forward by The Client. No variation or alteration of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid unless approved of in writing by a CEO or director of the company. The Company operates a minimum charge of 2.5 hours per cleaning visit. Payments All services carried out by Caring Cleaners will be charged accordingly. Payments of fees rendered by invoice are due on the date which is stated on the invoice. Late interest fee will be applied at a rate of 4.5% of the bill total on any past due invoices. When payment has not been received, we reserve the right to withhold services, and Caring Cleaners reserves the right to cease our services, and to terminate our engagement if payments are unduly delayed. Consistent late payment by clients will incur a 50% pre-payment for all future work. All quotes prepared by Caring Cleaners are valid for a period of 30 days, after 30 days has passed, we reserve the right to revise the previously provided quote. All invoices for residential clients are payable no later then four days after the service is completed. After the four-day payment period has passed any further work will be ceased until the past due account is paid in full. Additional work that is requested by the client that has not been included in the quotation will be quoted additionally and added onto the original invoicing. All cleaning service prices are subject to review and may be adjusted yearly in line with inflation, wage increases, or any other reasonable circumstances. All clients will be notified a minimum of 30 days in advance in writing prior to any change of service pricing. Refunds No refunds can be given once the cleaning service has been carried out. If the client is unhappy with the service provided, they must contact Caring Cleaners no later than 24-48 hours after the service has been provided. We will then rectify the situation by returning to re-clean any areas that had been missed. A full refund may be issued if the client has pre-paid for any service and has made a cancellation within the allotted time frame of 24-hours. Cancellations If the client needs to reschedule their cleaning appointment, they may do so within 24-hours before the appointment. Caring Cleaners cannot guarantee the same cleaning technician will be available on the new allotted day and time. Claims Caring Cleaners liability insurance covers up to $1,000,000 in any damages caused by a cleaning technician. The client must notify Caring Cleaners within 24-hours to be accepted as a valid claim. Our cleaners give their best effort never to break any items although accidents may occur. In the case of any damaged caused by our cleaning technicians we will replace or repair the item at it’s cost. If the item cannot be replaced we will pay-out the client at it’s current market value. Caring Cleaners shall not be held accountable for any damage caused due to faulty or improper installation. All surfaces are assumed to be properly installed and sealed, ready to be cleaned without causing any harm. Any attempt to commit insurance fraud or any use of false information to commit any type of fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law together by the Caring Cleaners and the Insurance Provider. Complaints All client complaints are taken extremely seriously. Please reach out to us within 24-48 hours if you are unhappy with the service provided in any way. We will do our best to rectify the situation in a timely and professional manner. If a client is unhappy with any service provided, they must still pay the invoice and we will rectify the situation as soon as possible upon the client notifying us. How long have you been in business?

We have been in business for 5 years, Our owner and operator has been working independently in the cleaning industry since 2013.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

Yes we bring all of our cleaning solutions, microfiber rags and mop pads, as well as our vacuum cleaner. Items like toilet brushes are not provided due to cross contamination.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is the instant gratification. Coming into a customers home and truely making it sparkle for them brings great pride and accomplishment.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Since I was 18 I was cleaning for the Ottawa hospital. Being in a sensitive environment made it hard for me to enjoy my job. Many patients are going through a hard time when in hospital and do not want to be bothered with a cleaner coming into their room early in the mornings. I loved my job and cleaning but I did not feel wanted nor appreciated in the institutional hospital setting.

Now that I clean homes I mostly clean for working busy families or elderly patients who have a hard time cleaning. They truly appreciate my services and I love to make their lives easier by providing my help in housekeeping services.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

1. Our cleaners are using Lysol disinfecting wipes to clean all materials/tools after they have finished a clients home.
2. We have fully vaccinated staff who wear masks and practice safe social distancing while in your home providing the service.
3. Our cleaners wear the correct personal protective equipment and have been trained on cross contamination and sanitization.
4. We regularly preform audits on our staff every 30 days, this ensures the highest standard of cleaning and disinfection services.
