I hired Naveen to renovate my boulevard strip in my front yard. Like many lawns in North Vancouver, the lawn has been destroyed by crows on their quest for grubs. The scope included sod removal, flagstone path installation, landscape fabric, river rock, bark mulch, plant installation, and transplanting a mature tulip tree. Naveen was professional, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish. He showed up when he said he would, communicated clearly throughout the project, and delivered exactly what was quoted at the price agreed. No surprises. The finished product looks outstanding. The flagstone path is well laid, the dark mulch and river rock create a clean contemporary look, and the tulip tree transplant was handled with care. For the scope of work delivered at a fair price, I would not hesitate to recommend Naveen and his team to anyone looking for quality landscaping work.

We recently had our driveway paved and couldn’t be happier with the results! Naveen and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was efficient, professional, and very detail-oriented throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how open he was to feedback and questions. He genuinely cared about making sure we were satisfied every step of the way. The project was completed on time, the workmanship is excellent, and our driveway looks fantastic. I can’t speak highly enough about the work Stephen and his crew from SMC Masonry just did for us. The chimney on our 50 year old home was in bad shape and we had concerns regarding the cost to repair and matching the old uncommon brick. Stephen quoted us a very fair price which we accepted and the resulting finished product was nothing short of outstanding! The chimney looks like new and the brick was matched perfectly. Stephen also took the time to repair some additional masonry issues he noticed at no additional charge. In addition, the cleanup was done so well you would never have known they’d been there. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending Stephen and his very capable crew to anyone requiring the highest level of professional masonry work.
