Trident Strength & Conditioning

Trident Strength & Conditioning

I work out of my home in New Braunfels as well as some of the local parks. My wife and I have a really nice set up on our property. The garage gym houses a squat rack, kettlebells, dumbbells, maces, battling ropes, mats, sleds, etc. Outside, I have a monkey bar system with suspension trainers (TRX-like and gymnastic rings), a second squat rack/pull up bar system, balance beams, etc. You can see some of this in the pictures on my profile. I have a very generalist attitude on life/training. I'm not trying to be the best at one thing, but really good at many things. Not only is it more fun, but it brings WAY more value to, not only my own life, but to the world as well. It allows me to be a better helper when people are in need and it keeps my fitness/health very broad so that I can accomplish many different physical tasks without fear of being injured or failing at the task. Without sounding too cliche, limit yourself to nothing! I dig into many different modalities to include, traditional strength & conditioning work, gymnastics, parkour, yoga, hand balancing, climbing, swimming, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (grappling), paddleboarding, long boarding, kayaking, etc. I close myself off to nothing and in doing so I have the ability to teach many different modalities. A majority of my clients come to me looking to lose weight. Occasionally, I get someone who wants to pack on muscle or perform better at (insert their activity/sport). The irony is, the ones who allow me to shift their focus from (insert goal) to moving better, controlling their bodies better, trying something they never thought they could do, sticking to sound nutritional concepts, etc, everything they were looking for falls into place. The original goal ends up becoming a positive side effect of something much bigger. As far as nutrition is concerned, it goes hand in hand with my philosophy on life and training. My wife and I grow our own vegetables, buy from farmers markets, fish and hunt (responsibly...ONLY for food and not for sport), eat wild caught, grass fed, free range meats, etc. We try to educate people as much as we possibly can as this is a HUGE component to living a healthy life. Whatever it is that you are trying to achieve, I would love to talk with you about it even if it was only to give a short piece of advice. Thank you for taking the time to read through all of this and I hope to see you soon!
