Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa

Have gone there twice now, and am very happy with service. The only recommendation would be to stagger grooming appointments a little in the morning, so 10 different people don't show up at 9am to check in and drop off dogs for grooming .

This looks like a great place to take your dog when you need to be out of town or just for the day. The staff was really outgoing, they took us on a tour, their VIP suites were upfront and all of the dogs appeared to be having a great time. I was really skeptical sending my 80lb German Shepherd to a place called Yuppy Puppy but I read a lot of reviews and did my research so we set up an evaluation and appointment with a trainer. We met with Miranda and told her our issues and we agreed to do three weeks training with board and train for the first two weeks. Halfway through the two weeks of boarding my dog got sick and they called to let me know and inform me they don't train if a dog is sick and I understood their reasoning. It took about two weeks for her to get better and get back into training and our trainer, Miranda, started her training over with no additional charges. Miranda is and was an amazing trainer with our dog and also with training me on how to hold my dog accountable. They also post pictures almost daily of my dog so I could see some of the things she was doing. Highly recommend both Yuppy Puppy and Miranda! More...

We love the Yuppy Puppy!! We were given training sessions as a gift from my parents for our lab, Whiskey. The difference in his behavior was amazing! Oscar, Whiskey's trainer was so patient with him, us and our 9 year old daughter. Now we take him for play camp a couple times a month. Jessica does a fantastic job grooming my 2 Shih Tzu's! They come home with a soft silky coat & beautiful bows in their top knots. They inform me when they find anything unusual. I am a regular (every other week) customer & receive VIP services. I just love everyone that works at the Yuppy Puppy. I highly recommend their VIP program. The staff was great. Warned them that my dog does not like the hair dryers or hair drying room and they found an alternative using a fan. Also my dog can get moody when doing things he don’t like and they said he was great for them. I have a long haired Sheltie and they did great with him. He looked very happy when I picked him up like he had a good time. He wasn’t in a rush to leave which says a lot about the place. The staff said he was great and didn’t have any problems. Which tells me they related to him well. He looked great and it was well worth the money. We will back to this location. We actually thought we booked the Yuppy Puppy in O’Fallon near Winghaven and so glad we mistakenly called this location. Very friendly staff and helpful. The inside waiting area is a shop with no seating so beware if you’re waiting. I took my GSP to have his nails trimmed which were way overgrown and he HATES getting them done (at least by me) They took him back and after a little coaxing got him up on their bench and got to work. I don’t think it was longer than 10 minutes and he was done and looking good. No pain, no limp. All seemed fine. Will be back for more nail trims and maybe a full groom. More...

Update, my scepticism has passed. I highly recommend Katie and the training team at Yuppy Puppy. Jury is still out on their training. Almost 3 weeks into it, and 750 dollars into it, and keep being told how good he's doing. I don't see it. We'll see. I have high expectations based on the costs. I hope they are met. More...

I've been taking Buddy to the spa for over a year. He does the micro bubble bath which is amazing for his skin allergies. He no longer has to take medication for that . The staff is very compassionate and makes Buddy feel very comfortable while there. They cut his hair perfect everytime. They truly love our fur babies! More...
