I've been practicing at this studio for a little over a year and I really love it. It took me a while when I moved to this neighborhood to find a yoga studio that was the right fit for me and YogaWorks Hollywood is definitely it! The manager of the studio, Megan, is absolutely wonderful and so personable. She was super helpful when I had an injury and needed to extend my class pack, and when I wanted to become a monthly member, offered a ton of guidance. I come to the studio 3-4 times a week, so I've gotten to know a lot of the staff, and they are truly all so sweet and kind. The studio is very clean, and they've recently redecorated the space with couches, rugs, and plants--it's so welcoming. I haven't tried the pilates or TRX classes, but I've taken a number of the Vinyasa Flow classes. I love Jennifer Long's 1/2, Sara Blowers's all levels, and Ben Gettinger's all levels classes. Definitely recommend swinging by this studio--if you become a monthly member, you have access to the Los Feliz studio as well! More...

Definitely a long time coming...I've been practicing here for about 6 months, and it's been so great! Started with a Groupon, fyi they do not honor it if you've taken a class before, however, they usually have awesome first month deals and can apply the Groupon value to your monthly membership. The wonderful gals at the front desk make this super easy. The classes I have taken ( so far ) are:Pilates Mat Urban Zen/ Restore/Kundalini Coreworks/ BarworksHatha Yoga IVinyasa FlowIyengar ....literally all these classes are awesome, I have not had a single bad experience, even if you're a newbie to yoga like me. Teachers are sweet and really make you feel comfortable, and nobody is judgmental. Mats cost $2 to rent, and you'll probably pay for parking at the Hollywood location for $1. Kind of a bummer if you go often like me, but you'll get over it. Los Feliz is free, park at a mall structure on Western and Hollywood. Shoutout to the Pilates teachers, Kinga, Holly, and Pia...all different, all amazing!!! You'll be addicted and get your ass kicked ( in a good way ) by these babes. Also the Zen and Restorative classes are very relaxing, I like to take them after Pilates, or whenever I'd like to unwind and get away for a bit.Plus, if you sign up for Hollywood, you can attend the  Los Feliz classes too. The front desk girls at both locations are BEYOND friendly, attentive and helpful. The flexible times and variety of classes make the membership here absolutely worth it. More...

I have finally found what I've been looking for! I let the Hollywood YMCA after 16 years because it is filthy and all the good instructors left, then I joined Crunch on Sunset because it's clean and it's supposed to have great classes - that may be the case but I could never take any because they all started too late. Then I tried YogaWorks on a one week free trial membership and I can not tell you how impressed I am thus far. The front desk is very friendly, the place is so clean - I mean they dry mop the studio's after every class, the locker room and showers are super clean, the studio's are a great size and at least the classes I have been to are not crowded (yay!) The bonus is they have TRX and Barr Method, sculpting as well as the yoga. Ticks all the boxes for me and I plan to join when my week is up. Excited to go in every morning and take a class!! More...

They have an ample schedule and variety of classes throughout the day. All the instructors I have practiced with have been very nice and easy to follow and give out clear Indians nice adjustments. Bring your own mat and towel or you have to pay a fee to rent them. The challenge is parking because this area is very congested and even with validation there is I think a $1 fee or more if you stay longer. More...

I've been coming to this Yogaworks for 3 years on Mon/Wed/Fri for Ashley Platz class.  I've already left a review for her because she is the best!  I normally do Tue/Thu elsewhere because they have a 6am and it gets me to work a little earlier.  I overslept today and went to Hollywood for Dearbhla Kelly's 6:30am.  I am so glad I overslept.  What a great class.  She had some cool variations on Sun A that helped keep things moving along.  She is incredibly attentive and observant.  I was a tad late so we had no discussion about my many years of injuries.  She picked up on several of them in the first few mintues of class.  Her adjustments are very subtle but spot on.  By the way it's not just the teachers.  The facility is very clean, locker rooms are great, Fiona, Rowana and the rest of the check in team are so friendly and pleasant.  5 Stars for Dearbhla, 5 Stars for Ashley and 5 Stars for Yogaworks Hollywood. They changed the yoga matt policy, it is now like most studios, $2 to rent one. Wish I would have known I would've brought my own. That being said the teachers are all great! The classes don't have mirrors, so you don't feel like everyone is watching you if that bothers you. I work nights but I can usually find a class that fits into my schedule everyday. I have been attending this YogaWorks for a little over a year now and it's been amazing the entire time.  FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT: The facilities are nice, clean, and thankfully, there are showers in the bathrooms.  Free lockers, tea & water, and validated parking.  Blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters are also all provided in the classroom.  Mats and towels are available for a cheap rental if needed.  STAFF:The front desk staff is awesome and makes a genuine effort to get to know their clients.  They'll help you pick the right classes for your level, choose the proper equipment, and answer any and all questions on the facility and practice you may have.INSTRUCTORS:The majority of my experience at this studio has been with Ashley Platz and Klara Bella, who are two of the best yoga teachers I've ever encountered.  It is clear they have a profound understanding of yoga and have become master instructors whose passion for teaching shines every time they walk in the room.  They break down the movement into simple terms and even if you have no experience at all, they help align you properly and help you keep the integrity of the poses.  They will keep you challenged, but not strained, and work you toward doing things you didn't know were possible.  OVERALL:No matter what your body type or experience level, this is a great place to be.  It's difficult to convey the transformation I've had in the last year since coming here.  Not only am I stronger and more flexible than I've ever been in my life, I'm also noticeably happier on a daily basis.  This is the best investment in myself I think I've ever made.  A giant thanks to Ashley, Klara, Colleen, and the entire YW staff for helping to change my life! I'm a member at the YogaWorks on Larchmont, and as the membership is location specific, I generally have no cause to visit the numerous other YogaWorks studios around town. A few weeks ago, though, my friend Nicky S. and I tried to go to a class at Larchmont, only to find out it had been canceled because the teacher's flight had been delayed. (For what it's worth, Nicky has been a member for five years, and she said this was the first time something like that had ever happened.) This was kind of a bummer, but the staff suggested we go to a class at YogaWorks Hollywood instead. It was starting in fifteen minutes, and of course, we wouldn't have to pay for it. They set things up so we had a free class waiting for us when we arrived. A bit of a pain in the ass, but we definitely appreciated it, and ended up having a nice little outing. The studio was in a big building complex on Hollywood and Vine, the same one as The Hungry Cat and 800 Degrees. The parking lot took some finding, but once we were in, there were plenty of spaces available. We got I think one hour free with validation, and it only cost us a dollar when we ran ten minutes over. (I do think free parking would've been a nice gesture, but I don't really know how much the various YogaWorks coordinate their customer service. The people here were very pleasant, in any case.) The space was very different from the Larchmont location, which has been around for years. The Hollywood studio is obviously newer. It feels nicer and less worn in, with better air circulation and lighting. There's also a huge retail space in front, if you should need any yoga gear.We took a Vinyasa Flow 2 class with Klara Bella, and it was pretty fantastic. I'm guessing it was in a smaller practice room, unless the rooms here are just much smaller than the ones at Larchmont. There were only about eight students there, so we all got a good deal of individual attention. Klara was a great instructor, clear and helpful, and she took us through a tiring workout. Nicky and I were both impressed with the soft lighting in the room. Very luxury day spa.I guess it's unlikely that I'll come back here unless Larchmont malfunctions again, but I had a lovely visit, and would recommend the Hollywood YogaWorks if you're looking for a great yoga studio in this area. I was happy to take this little field trip. Klara Bella, namaste. More...

They have stuff all day and evening so it's easy to find a class, classes are well attended so show up a little early. Other students in these classes are as friendly as people on the NY subway so don't expect to make friends. Seems like they are practicing how not to smile yoga. Parking is free for an hour and for a dollar you can buy 30 more minutes at the desk, which you'll need if you want to actually take an hour long class. BEWARE: the thieving parking lot with no grace period and $2.00+ over charges. If you show up a little early and your class goes a little long, or you stop to drink some water or the free tea after class, you will have to sprint back to your car to avoid being overcharged. I have been a regional "YogaWorks" member since 2013 and have been practicing yoga for about 10 years. I have been to several different yoga studios and have had several different teachers as well.     I started taking George Kosmitis Vinyasa Flow class in Pasadena and Los Feliz about 3 years ago however those studios do not offer any shower facilities unlike the Hollywood location so I find myself going mostly to George's 6:30pm Mon, and Wed class since this happens to be the perfect time for after work yoga.  The way George deliveries his yoga class with good energy and light hearted approach keeps me coming back for more.  I would probably take the "teacher training" program if George ever plans to teach it. I think he has a real good way connecting with his students and makes yoga cool for guys. I have seen his class grow with a good mixture of men and women yogis over the years. Also the front desk people here are nothing but pleasant and easygoing people especially John, Daniel, and Lisa keep up the good work.      I would like to give the studio 5 stars however with the cost of parking (YogaWorks validates for one hour but charges $1 for an additional half hour then the parking structure charges you $2 every additional 30 minutes after the hour and half), towels and a few other things I give this studio 4 stars. If I could change anything about this studio and some of the other "YogaWorks" studios would be to paint some type of design or visual art on the walls to incorporate the area the studio is located in. I think connecting to the studios environment will help make the studio less sterile and more organic. Make sure to bring your own towel for showering since they now charge a buck or two to rent please get rid of that fee.Namaste More...

You can get 1 hour free parking in the garage or pay 1 dollar more for an extra half hour. As many of the yoga classes are 55 minutes, you run the risk of going over an hour when you factor in parking, getting there early, etc. It's unfortunate that a place where you pay for membership makes you pay for parking but that is the reality of this studio.
