Very tranquil. Rooms are tiny and a bit outdated but what it lacks inside it makes up for on the outside and we knew what we were getting when we booked. Their pictures clearly show what the rooms are like so you know what to expect. The location is beautiful and we took advantage of the free use of kayaks. The grounds and waterfront were beautiful. Only stayed one night. Wished I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was good and in a very nice outdoor hut. We had a regular cottage, it was very small. We had booked a beach front house with 2 seperate double rooms, the property was large and spacious and the beds were lovely and comfortable. ||||Kayaks on the beach free to use and also sun loungers. There was a communal BBQ on the beach for all to use and we had a table on the grass out side the property.||||Only downside was the air con was really noisy this did affect our sleep that's the only reason for the rating on sleep||||All in all the stay was great and peaceful. Very nice setting at the lake. Loved the free kayak use. Just don't go for the economy room. It's like a shoebox with an extremely noisy aircon directly above the bed. Changed to another room the second night, which was nice and spacious.Management: Please reconsider the breakfast. Either leave it away or improve it. I'm not an environmentalist but providing everything on single use/ throwaway plastic (plates, cups, cutlery) is just an absolute no-go for a hotel/ motel with hundreds/ thousands of guests each year! We enjoyed our stay in the Dolphin room. The beach and the sunsets on the bay are breathtaking. The grounds are well kept. They could do a lot better for the breakfast. One option of fresh fruit would be good. They use all styrofoam. Also, they need update and include paddle boards like the hotel next door. The room was very dated but comfortable enough. Although, the second room was way too hot and had no AC. Which made the other AC unit run constantly through the night. The closet space was close to zero. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we liked it but would really appreciate the paddle boards next time we visit. The boards will probably be our deciding factor for the next visit. Just a subtle hint, haha! Thanks. More...

Very cute place, comfortable room, free kayak hire, beautiful little beach right there in the property. Only negative was the terrible wastage at breakfast. Only disposable cups, plates and cutlery!Unfortunately we saw a lot of this in the U.S. :( We took our own picnic stuff to breakfast and used that instead. This is basic accommodation. Older motel style but instead detached cottages. Our room had 2 double beds with an older style air conditioner which was noisy. However, there was an overhead fan which we preferred. The bathroom, though old, was clean and the shower roomy. The toilet was in need of some attention but no doubt maintenance would have the problem in hand by now. ||Breakfast was included and we thought it was fine despite the reviews that we read before arrival. Cereal, juice, Danishes, toast, tea, coffee, yoghurt. Granted there was no fruit but for our money we thought it was good. Lovely chalet. Clean and comfortable. Great staff and less than a minute to walk to the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of good places to eat in the locale. Would definitely go back.
