Dr. Williams and his staff are amazing. I feel like he always has the best interest in his patients and not just money signs. My lab had surgery and every time I called after surgery (which was a lot because I am a helicopter mom) he called me back within the hour. I had one bad visit but that was due to a "fill in" vet (Williams and Sebby were out that day) but the staff made it right before walking out of there. I highly recommend this clinic! Great full service vets that have years of experience, modern facilities with country vet practicality. They truly care more about your pets wellbeing rather than high pressure sales. And they do large animals as well as small animals and exotics (call to make sure the vet on duty is able to see exotics as they do sometimes have relief vets who don't). More...

We have used Williams-Sebby for 5 years and not only are they efficient and reasonable, they go the extra mile in making my dog feel comfortable. They do not overbook so there is not a long lag time in the waiting room - but the waiting room is more comfortable than any doctor's office i have ever visited!  Everyone was friendly and helpful. My little 6 yr old Yorkie was sick one day but then a little better the next day - but then worse again the next day so decided I better get her seen as figured she had to be getting dehydrated. We recently moved back from Tennessee and did not have a Vet here yet so called a Vet friend in north Austin who could see her but said that since so far away she mentioned another friend of ours who likes their Vet in San Marcos very much - and even added that it would cost much LESS then the place she is at! Called our mutual friend and he told me about Williams-Sebby Clinic. I called and told them what was going on with her and got an appointment within a couple hours. Took her over & signed in and in less than 5 minutes they called us in an exam room. Now my wife usually takes her in for Vet visits but she was out of town - so I was not sure what to expect. Well the weigh-in went fine - but Oh-Boy then the tech wanted to take her temp in the back end and all heck broke loose and my furbaby was having none of it! So they brought in another tech to help and - Nope - my baby was having none of it even more! So then they said they would have the Dr. come in to handle her. But then they had another person come in the room who was very good with her and he got her calmed down to do what they needed to do. About then Dr. Sebby came in and we had 4 in the room for my - all of a sudden - ferocious little 9 pound Yorkie! He did an exam and got a specimen to get checked out. Dr Sebby said it looked like it was bacterial and maybe an infection since she had a mild temp. He recommended giving her a antibiotic injection since she was already getting sick so often - and then a couple of other meds for her tummy problems. He then went on to say if not better in a few days they may need to take an X-ray and and do blood tests- but that it was not necessary to go into all that at this time as she did not seem dehydrated or in distress. I appreciated his approach as I'm certain some places would be happy to run several extra tests to hike a bill up if they see an opportunity. So she got her shot and her meds and we were about to be on our way when the 3rd tech (or who I thought was a tech) that had come in the room and stayed with my baby the whole time keeping her calmed down was actually a behavioral therapist who is on staff. He mentioned he does classes for behavior modification, anxiety and animal social interaction. Which was very insightful as she has never been very social with other dogs and has very high anxiety whenever her human mommy leaves the house! But he did not even know about those two facts!! So we'll be checking into those classes soon!Anyway - this was all yesterday morning and I am happy to report that my wife's furbaby has not been sick again since seeing Dr. Sebby - except for when we walked out to leave in the parking lot!! Dr. Sebby as well as the vet tech were absolutely wonderful with my pyr. Our visit was accommodated on extremely short notice, they treated multiple issues quickly and efficiently, and it didn't cost me an arm & a leg, just a couple of fingers. But seriously, although not the cheapest visit around, it was affordable & reasonable. To have an emergency treated in 2 hours, as a new customer who's never been seen there, well, it's worth a lot. Yvey had a cyst lanced and examined under the microscope, two fecal exams to diagnose her tummy troubles, a skin infection looked at, and medicated to the tune of $150 with treats and a gentle, caring manner. We have used them since 2003 with 5 different animals. They were so amazing with our diabetic cat and all of our dogs. We live in Kyle now and still make the trip out to there because their staff is so amazing.

We have been going to Williams-Sebby Vet Clinic for nearly 5 years now. We have lived in San Marcos, New Braunfels, and for the last 3 years we have lived south of Seguin, close to New Berlin. Even though it maybe an hours drive, they are worth it! They have loved and cared for our pups as they underwent TPLO surgery on both knees for our oldest, Tikka as well as immediate care when our youngest, Kimber, was bit by a 6.5 foot rattlesnake. Our pups adore going to the vet, and are always so excited to see everyone and receive all their love and attention during our visits. We are so happy that we found Williams-Sebby when we first adopted our pup, and will continue to support this Vet Clinic because of the love we feel as soon as we walk in the front doors. These guys are so fabulous! From the brand new, clean facility, to the friendly staff, to the way they treat the fur babies! It’s clear that they take pride in the work they do and the animals (and their humans) that they care for. I boarded by dog, Macha, for two weeks...and they were so kind to send videos, pics and updates through the duration of her stay....because yes, I’m “that Mom”. Have never boarded her so long and felt comfortable the entire time. So Williams-Sebby, thank y’all!! And a special shoutout to Ashley and all her updates and true genuine care for the babies she handles!! Oh yeah - yep, they refer to the animals as your babies....and that speaks volumes to me! i've been using Williams - Sebby clinic for around 26 years. They have treated all my animals including a pot bellied pig yrs ago. I trust them with all my animals and they have no problem referring out if they can't do something (usually orthopediacally) for one of my animals....from annual exams, shots, c-sections, and the most recent end of life decision which everyone was in there and crying w/me and my daughter....they are family and i love them all. Where do I even start? This place is beyond amazing for words. From the moment you walk into the facility, your experience will be one you won't regret. I took my dog here because she was severely sick. I drove all the way from East Austin to come to this vet recommended my multiple people. Dr.Sebby and his team were incredibly welcoming. The assistant vet (Male) that heard our cry was super sweet and reassured us that they were going to do whatever they could for our baby girl. From running every possible test to giving her the medical needs, Dr.Sebby made us feel that we chose the right place to come. He was very transparent with us. Although we're not looking forward to the full diagnosis of our dog, we know that she is in the best hands at Williams-Sebby Veterinary Clinic. They allow you to be back there with your dog and even hold your dog if any procedures need to be done. This by far was a big deal because every vet we've taken our dog to in Austin has never let us come to the back with our dog. Also without hesitation, they treated our dog with any medications, fluids etc before even discussing finances. My dog is 15 years old and of all the vets she has ever been to in Austin, they will invoice you and ask you if you can even afford treatment before they even put your dogs health first...and it's always over $1000! At Williams-Sebby Vet, they are very affordable than every other place I've been to. I will continue to make this drive over and over if I had to because this Vet and staff. All other staff members were checking in on our dog and came to share some cuddles with her which made me my dog feel very comfortable. Last but not least, Dr.Sebbys wife who works up front, shared the wonderful history of the Vet along with her sympathy for all animals. A little off topic but the design of this Clinic is awesome! It's got a country rustic touch along with all the fantastic antiques Dr. Sebby and his wife have collected through the years of traveling across the USA! Recently we unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our sweet black lab, Sadie. I took her in thinking she had gotten in to something bad when Dr. Williams had to give me the news that he felt a large mass in her abdomen. I was shocked, unprepared and devastated. By myself I didn't know what to do but knew I couldn't do this alone. Dr. Williams was so kind and offered to come out to our home when the clinic closed to give our sweet girl peace. It was a horrible day but our family was able to all be there to say goodbye to her in an environment where she felt safe and loved. Our animals have been patients of this practice for years. We love the vets, staff and new location. I cannot say enough good things about this practice nor express the gratitude we feel for the care and attention all our animals (dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and once a goat!) receive there. ❤ More...
