What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Having an understanding about listing and posing of course but what sets a good portrait photo apart from a good candid is seeing a moment within an interaction and capturing that moment before it’s gone. That’s when you can see the raw and genuine emotions, the personalities behind the person in the photo and the bond the individuals in the photo share. Those are the types of photos you look at and FEEL something.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are you hoping to get out of these photos? Is it a visual memory of the day? Is it the start of a new tradition capturing your growing family? Annual photos as the kids get older? Celebrating love and happiness? Extended family coming together? Or the addition of a new pet?
What do you love most about your job?
I love being the one to bring people and families closer together. There’s always one in the family that LOATHS taking photos but after they leave a session with me they are saying, “that wasn’t so bad”, “she mad that actually a lot of fun”, “I’m glad we have these memories together”.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always had an eye for seeing deeper into the moment, maybe because of my love of rom coms and the notebook, which allows me to try and recreate moments and scenes from my clients’ life for them to look back on and view from the spectators point of view.
It’s really cute to see how someone else views your relationship and bond, and actually brings you closer together. I love being that person for you !

I’m not just the lady behind the lense. I’m your best friend, sister, crazy energetic aunt that does silly things to make the kids laugh or helps your husband lighten up. I’m your hype woman and biggest cheerleader. I want you to have enjoyable moments in life AND the visual memory of those moments.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Sessions themself have to be down in person but all the editing and photo delivery is done remotely. I edit and deliver the digital files to you via email for you to be able to download. From there you can choose to order print products through me that get delivered right to your front door or you can print them on your own.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Whether it’s the Covid 19 virus or a common cold my children have brought home from school I always keep sanitizer on me to use in between eating/drinking or sessions to help prevent the spread of germs.
Wedding photography
Your wedding day is arguably one of the most memorable days in your life but it goes so fast! As the main star of the day you are bouncing around from getting ready to ceremony to mingling and so on. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and not remember all of the little parts of the day. After the day is over all you have left are your memories. If you have some own like me there to photograph all the little details and big moments, photos with friends and family that have traveled near and far, some you may only see once a year, some you may never see again, then you’ll be able to look back on your day and remember all of the sweet moments that played a part in making your day so special.

I’ve been in the wedding business for 6+ years and have worked hundreds of weddings. I’ve learned the ins and outs of the business and have met some amazing vendors all over Maine and New England. If you need help securing decorations, booking vendors, and overall bailing down all the details of your big day my expertise can help bring your dream and vision to life!
