What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Aside from the technical aspects of photography (lighting, camera settings, equipment, etc) the most important secret to taking a great photo is having an authentic, genuine connection with my client.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would ask what the clients vision is, as well as any details (time, location, etc) that are relevant to the session. I like to find out what the client is hoping to achieve so I can provide the best service.
What do you love most about your job?
My favorite part of photography is meeting and working with clients, and the new and lasting friendships that I’ve made. I also love exceeding client expectations and providing them with moments to cherish forever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am an award-winning nature & landscape photographer, which I’ve been doing for almost 4 years. I ventured into portraiture about 3 years ago, and combining my love of nature and people has led to a fulfilling and successful career. I offer services in all areas of photography, from seniors to weddings.
