What we liked about Paul was that he spent the time to understand our goals for our video: we wanted a slower pace, plenty of speech material, and as many candid shots of friends and family as possible. He incorporated all of this feedback into the first draft. We had a couple requests for revisions, and he turned those around really quickly.

We're grateful he was able to capture so many special moments of the day, from our tea ceremony to our vows, from the speeches to the bride's brother's serenade for us. I got married on July 21, 2018 at Pageo Lavender Farm in Turlock. After booking our venue in April 2017, my next priority was to find an amazing videographer who could perfectly capture the emotions throughout our wedding day for my husband and I to remember forever. I researched for hours and started emailing the list of potential videographers I had gathered for quotes and more information. Paul of Wild 35 responded quickly, was super friendly and reasonably priced. He offered to talk with us over the phone for a free consultation so we could get to know each other more and talk about how the day would go. We loved Paul’s knowledge, experience, and videography style, and knew he was the right fit for us!

About a month before the wedding day, we talked with Paul over the phone to review the day-of timeline and how he and his second shooter would work together. On the wedding day, Paul arrived at the agreed upon time. Everyone loved him and his second shooter right away and he worked very well with our photographer. About 3 months later, we received our edited highlight video and raw footage. I am thrilled with how the edited video turned out and love Paul’s style that fit so well with our venue. The raw footage was sent to us on Blu-ray discs with customized labels, and we received a few additional copies to gift to family.

To future brides and grooms, please do not skip on hiring a videographer because after the day is over, your videos are what you have to look back on and are priceless. I highly recommend Paul Ortiz at Wild 35 to capture the important moments of your special day!

Paul is AMAZING! Our wedding video was so much more than I imagined and I am so impressed he created such an amazing, high quality video. Paul was AMAZING! He was extremely professional and captured the love, fun, and happiness that embodied our wedding. Paul was INCREDIBLE - I found him via Thumbtack and picked him because he was cheap (especially compared to other videographers in the area quoting me 4x his price. ..), he was responsive, and his videos were good. He set up a time to Skype with us right after we hired him to talk through the process and what we were looking for, and then closer to the date we spoke again. He brought a second videographer AND a drone all for the same price, and he did SUCH a great job. He was never intrusive or obvious while filming during the big day (a few guests mentioned this to me as well) and the final product was incredible! He sent me a draft video and I responded with some comments which he immediately incorporated, even though they were super annoying and nitpicky things! I cannot tell you how many people complimented me on the video and said it did such a good job of capturing the ambiance of the day. I love it and have watched it dozens of times already. My fiance was not convinced we needed a videographer. We were trying to save wherever we could and he felt a videographer was an area we could do that, but then we watched the highlight video. The timing could not have been better. We had had our first married argument over... stools... when Paul let me know the highlight video was done. Paul is AWESOME! He was so stealth during all of the events and got so much great footage. He was extremely professional and put together a gorgeous highlight video that makes everyone cry (in a good way) because it captures the night and our personalities perfectly. If you're not sure if you should employ a videographer, my advice is to make room in the budget for it. You should ABSOLUTELY book Paul for your wedding or special event. Paul was five stars across the board and friends and family were BLOWN away with his work. He is nice, professional, timely, artistic, flexible, collected and extremely talented. The quality he produced was beautiful and edgy, but classic. Highly recommend. We are soooooo so happy we decided to book Paul for our wedding day. He was super easy to work with and incredibly professional. For most of the day we didn't even know he was there because he worked so seamlessly with our photographer. Our video turned out beautifully and he captured all the important moments we wanted. WOW! I am truly blown away by our experience with Paul. I was slightly nervous initially since he was a fraction of what my friends had paid for their Videographers but after speaking with Paul on the phone, I felt good about the decision to hire him. I went home and showed my fiancé his other videos and we were both quite pleased with what we saw.
Paul's professionalism, communication and results are worth far more than he charges. During our call before the wedding he asked all the important details and made sure that we had everything covered. On the wedding day he was on time and worked well with my photographer to make sure they were't in each others way.

We had a last minute cancelation and frantically searched for a videographer the week before the ceremony. This was a terrifying time but thank god Paul was available. Seriously, we truly did feel super lucky finding him. He was very professional on the phone and I felt very comfortable when hanging up.

With that being said, you can never really be certain of how good someone will be when the day arrives. This guy was spectacular. Sadly, I didn't have a second before hand to go and properly introduce myself but I knew that he was getting great footage. Every time I was hoping something was being captured I would either see him or our photographer there. They clearly worked very well together and it showed with the actual video we got.

Honestly, I don't want this to sound like a cheesy write up but I truly feel that our day (and memories in particular) of the day were spectacular and his footage is a huge part of that. When we got the video and sent it out to the close family and friends the main reaction we heard was that it feels like we are re-living the day all over again. And to be honest, you really can't ask for more than that.
