I've always been afraid of people at parties. But one time my mom made me go to one where WhatsUp DJ was playing. She said it would be "good for me. " I was sitting in the corner when all of a sudden WhatsUp DJ started playing "Get Low." His cowbell additions and repeated siren blasting did something to me. It was like the music spoke to me and said, "Get up on that dance floor and twerk like you've never twerked before." And I did. It was existential. It was euphoric. It was meaningful. And now I have a new skill I can put on my Tinder.

I love two things in life: Waffles and WhatsUp DJ. If forced to choose between the two, WhatsUp DJ holds a slight advantage in that I would share my waffle with him were we stranded on a desert island with only one waffle and a solar-powered PA system. ...because I know he would choose the perfect song to underscore our delicious waffley feast.

On a more serious note, as a child I was often bullied because I was born with two left feet. A lifetime of tragedy turned to triumph the first time I witnessed WhatsUp DJ at work. The skeletal transformation was painful but instantaneous. Evidently, the overwhelming groove in WhatsUp DJ’s music selection forced my second left foot (L’il Leftie) into something called “Spontaneous Funkbustion”, which rearranged my metatarsals into the form most suitable for dancing. "HIRE HIM!!!! Josh is an absolutely JOY to work with. No only does he give you some songs to start getting your brain rolling he is so aware of how to make your wedding flow. There was not a moment we felt like the music wasn’t matching what was going on. It was an awesome gift to us as a couple! It’s been months since our wedding and people are still talking about how much fun they had! My family is Brazilian and Josh mixed the music up so that my family felt so included but also invited our guests to join in! From the moment we started talking to Josh about DJ-ing our wedding, we knew that he knew what he was doing. His attention to detail and enthusiasm is contagious.
