We are a family owned restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner! we serve everything from breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and the best home made pasta in the city. We were elected best new restaurant in Omaha by The Omaha magazine we also appeared in a few local news segments where they feature our delicious food.

Can I give this lovely little bistro more than 5 stars? If I lived in Omaha, I would be a regular here, so if you live here, PLEASE give WD Cravings your business. There breakfast sammies are unusual, never had braised short ribs on a breakfast sandwich, but now I know what I have been missing! I've had their pesto parmesan chicken and the mac and cheese, and both are to die for. You can actually watch the chefs make your food, the kitchen is open to the restaurant, and it's so fun to watch them make pasta from scratch. Flavors are sublime, the pastries are a whole 'nother level of sublime. Coffee is excellent, and the couple that owns and runs the place are darling, so friendly and welcoming. PLEASE EAT HERE OMAHA! This is a cozy place in Cherry Hills. You can eat in or go through the drive thru. I would say it's probably best, but not necessary to call in your order if you use the drive thru option. I had the breakfast burrito and I thought it was good. Plenty of scrambled eggs and potatoes. There are also pickled onions in it which was an interesting addition. This little place is putting out fantastic food. We love the breakfast sandos. They're well with the $5 price!! Â We've had lunch and loved it. Chicken Parmesan was one of the best I've ever eaten. My wife loved the Mac and Cheese. So good. The dinners are a knockout. Their Bolognese is meaty and rich and just delicious! Â You can't go wrong there. Really good coffee, and breakfast sandwiches. The beef balognese is probably the best thing on the menu. This place can get really busy and they don't have a ton of help, the employees seem to be doing their best and the owners seem genuine. I ordered lunch here once and had to wait quite a while so I would recommend ordering early. I didn't love the desserts I've tried, they're very pretty but not exceptional. but the rest of the menu is really fantastic! Highly recommend. More...

Gosh, darn it! I wanted to like this place more.So I recently went there for the second time yesterday with my neighbor to eat their home made pastas for lunch. I had been previously to had breakfast and their sandos were incredible! The pastries that I got on the first visit (doughtnut holes, tiramisu, and tres leches) were all good...but not mindblowing.They looked better than they tasted, but I usually try to give a place TWO chances before I write them off.On this second visit we went straight for their pasta. I've been following their reviews on OFL and their Facebook page for quite some time it aches me how much I wanted to try their pasta. All their items are so visually appealing that it's hard not to want it. So on this particular visit, my friend got the Chicken Parm and I got the Build Your Own with Short Rib as my meat of choice.The presentation was a bit odd...in that her chicken parm was plated on a togo container cut in half. When I sat down with my pasta, I literally could not find any short rib meat in it. I dug through and through and finally was able to find one strand of meat. Quite literally it had a single strand of meat.Since we were already there, I brought it to the cashier's attention and she told me she would go talk to the chef. We started eating and the pasta was really tasty, however, the sauce fell flat for me. It was slightly too salted, runnier than I would've liked, and just lacking the deep, rich flavor I imagined in my mind. It was good, but just not as good as I imagined or visually as it appears.About 5 minutes later, the cashier gal came out with a small sauce container with short rib. It was nice to finally have the meat with my pasta, but unfortunate it had to come later. I do appreciate that they did try to make it right!Ended up finishing our meal by ordering the fruit tart since it was the last one. Again, the presentation was beautiful and it tasted good but not quite as mindblowing as I had hoped. The place is so clean it squeaks. But......overall it is a disappointment. My chicken parm was overcooked. The chicken was slightly tough, worse, the breading was black in places, and tasted slightly burnt. Â The delicious coleslaw was served in a non-varnished bowl that leached oil and went limp. I'll never understand why some pasta places provide plastic ware. Plastic forks bend and then often spring back and splatter your clean shirt with sauce as mine is now. JUST WOW! Ordered a creme brulee late (comes with donut holes) where you pick your flavor (I went with caramel) then they heat the sugar on top. It makes the best crust of delicious caramelized sugar and you get little crunchiest thorough. Â The donut holes are next level delicious. Light, airy, perfect sized. Tomato pesto sando was the best sandwich I've ever had. Melty mozerella, fresh pesto, glorious focaccia bread. No words. In my opinion, attempting to order dinner will be an effort that ends in frustration. First, the dinner hours are odd... .they are not open for dinner on Friday or Saturday. So we gave it a go on a Sunday. I tried calling repeatedly and continuously got voicemail. The voicemail message alternated between saying they were closed on Saturdays (reminder, I was calling on Sunday) or to call back later or order via Facebook messenger. Well...I don't have Facebook and after 4-5 attempts I gave up. As much as I advocate for supporting local businesses during this very difficult time, there needs to be some organizational standards in place. On the visit I made in person several weeks earlier, they had altered the hours  for Valentine's, which were different than what was posted on their website (and door), so I found myself hanging out unnecessarily for 30 minutes. The desserts I sampled were beautiful and the service was friendly, but unfortunately due to the above issues, I really don't plan to be back. Perhaps taking advantage of breakfast is the way to go. Went here because the Omaha Food Lovers Facebook group was raving about their chicken parmigiana entrée. While some members boldly proclaimed that WD Cravings has the best chicken parm in Omaha, I can say with certainty that it is just okay after eating it. While the cutlets were generously-sized and crispy, the pomodoro sauce lacked tang and the pappardelle pasta was fairly bland. Not to knock this place, the meal was very fresh and well-prepared it just was nowhere close to the best chicken parm in Omaha (it used to be found at Piccolo Pete's but since that place closed, Cascio's and Anthony's Steakhouses now vie for the title). Super nice staff and the drive thru is an added bonus. Â You can order online, call in or stop by and visit inside. Â Their desserts are phenomenal and I ordered the truffle ravioli dinner. YUM! I had a short rib breakfast sando and donut holes! The breakfast sando was freakin delicious! Idk what the sauce was on it but it was a nice addition. My friend and I went because the Valentine's Day specials looked soo good. Our dinners were good but my friend ordered a tart and they didn't tell her they were out until after her food was ready. I ordered the beef bolognese and it was hands down the best pasta I have had in my life. I ate the meal 5 hours ago and am already planning my next trip. It's that good. Ok first off I'm sorry i didn't take pics. We ordered our food in the drive thru and are it in the car. Now let's just say HELL YES WD cravings ! Those breakfast Sandos are scrumptious! The short rib and the fried chicken both were awesome ! And let me tell you about the made to order donut holes, they are down right freaking delicious! Hot damn! How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We offer our catering menu and then follow up with our costumers to see if that is what they like, we may come up with different menu options that aren't listed in our catering menu but we are know for our Pasta dishes, Rice bowls, breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos.

We truly love offering a higher quality of food that is hard to find in this city
What inspired you to start your own business?
We knew the quality of our food is better than most places in the city. If you trust your product then there's no need to fear when you open your business

Combined, we got more than 20 years of experience in casual and fine dining restaurants, it's hard to fail when you know what are you doing.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We take all measures recommended by the CDC we can tell you we sanitize and clean everything really well but we do that every day since day one of business, that was part of our training as chefs and its been part of us since all this started.
