My house had some water damage in a bathroom. We called Vitale construction and received a call back immediately from the owner, Joe. He personally came by and after some exploration diagnosed it as a somewhat minor issue (what a relief!). He turned off the water to the bathroom and was back to fix it just two days later. Joe Vitale and his crew were excellent.  We were having the exterior of our house painted and needed to have most of the wood panelling surrounding our chimney replaced.  Joe coordinated well with our painters to schedule his crew's work, replaced the panelling, flashing, trim well, and provided a good eye for detail in making sure that everything was finished well with high-quality weatherproofing.  His quote was fair and accurate as well.  Highly recommended! I recently used Vitale Construction to completely remodel my mother's home in Orinda.  I live in another state, so I needed a contractor that was trustworthy, reliable, honest and do excellent work.  I found that man, Joe Vitale, the owner of Vitale Construction.  I needed to rely on him completely as I was never there for the job.  He turned a home from the 50's to an updated beautiful home in four months.  The home sold in one week, way over the asking price due to his craftsmanship.  I have done a lot of construction in the past and I have never had a job run so smoothly as this one.If you are looking for someone honest and dependable, who can deliver you a great product, call Joe Vitale.  He is one in a million!!! We built our custom home 3 years ago and have learned to be very careful when we choose our contractors.  I consider myself an expert in construction.  Most contractors never even bother giving you a written proposal and rarely return calls.  Joe, the owner and general contractor is not only very professional, but honest.  And he returns my calls!  He is also a stickler about his guys keeping the job site clean, which is very important to us.I can honestly say that Vitale Construction is reliable, professional and very good at what they do: building!  They are not "cheap", but it's worth it because you get what you pay for!
