My daughter’s entire softball team stayed here for a week for nationals in July 2021. My family stays in a decent amount of hotels for softball tournaments and we will absolutely never stay in this one ever again. First, the couple of positives: the grounds were beautiful and the room was clean. Now, the many negatives… 1) When we checked in, we were given breakfast vouchers for each person for each day we were there. The next morning when we went to use the vouchers, we were told that today we could eat but the vouchers wouldn’t be honored the rest of the week because the desk gave them to us on accident. Not sure if that ones a negative actually because the breakfast was disgusting and the eggs were runny. 2)The a/c in our room didn’t work. When the technician came up to fix it and opened it up, the layers of filth on the filter explained why it wasn’t working. 3)The refrigerator in our room didn’t work either. Another one was brought in but we lost about $50 worth of food that the hotel would not compensate us for. 4) The pool is literally as far away from the guest rooms as it could be, pretty inconvenient. 5) Our entire floor smelled like stale cigarette smoke. 6) This one is probably the worst. On two nights, an entire softball team and all of their parents that were not staying in the hotel came in and took over the pool area making it impossible for paying hotel guests to use the area and also leaving no pool towels. The first night we were annoyed but didn’t complain much since we weren’t using the pool that night. When they showed up the second night- about 40 of them- we complained. However it took at least 3 people from our party complaining and my husband demanding a full refund to get staff to remove them. Turns out ONE grandparent from that team was staying there and took the liberty to bring in all the other people. My husband is a long term resident as he is here for a work project with Yonkers Industries. I decided to spend this week so I could “check it out”. I absolutely love it!!! unimpressed at this frat house. My reservation was for 2 beds, we called to confirm and got 1, with no solution offered. Check in clerk could not have cared less. SO LOUD. Very outdated and not at all handicap accessible. No microwave. Smelled like an ashtray. Will NEVER be back ! More...

We love stopping here but this time was disappointing. We needed more towels and wash cloths they nicely sent them up but they were still WET so we have them hanging to fry for the morning. The room is very dark and there is no way to make it lighter. The coffee maker is there but not enough cups. My friend went down to the car and the key wouldn’t open the door to come back in so I had to go down and let her in. Just a frustrating stay in what was one of our favorite stops. More...
