What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The Secret to a great photograph is time. Sometimes it takes time to just get to where you need to be to take the picture, sometimes you have to wait patiently for it. For outdoor shots, I factor in the weather for almost every shoot for a dynamic look.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Clients often want a 10 minute video of whatever project they have in mind. What isn’t necessarily visible, is that in just 30 seconds of a video, there are often as many as 60 different shots, text, transitions, etc. Reality is that beauty is often found in simplicity and most of those requests are ecstatic about the products we deliver.
What do you love most about your job?
I have been flying since I was a kid in Nebraska. Since then I have flown airplanes all over the world and what I love most about my job is that I get to provide my customers with a view point that words cannot describe.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I went to college to be a pilot. Upon graduation I worked for AOPA in Frederick, MD, high end corporate for a decade, and then military ISR. After a lifetime away from home, I was looking for an avenue to be nearer my family and VIP UAVs was born.

I have always maintained an extremely high satisfaction rate, many returning customers with other projects, years of experience and professionalism, and don’t mind getting my hands dirty if and when its needed on the job.

I can provide most of my finished products online and/or by mail for any hardcopies. However, being a company that utilizes cameras, it helps me greatly to be on site so I can get the shots needed.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
When COVID was at its peak and mandatory separation; that’s okay. I usually unpack off site and can fly my equipment as near or far as needed.
